THE IMPORTANCE OF MASTERING ENGLISH

And my loving brothers and sisters
In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and the most Gracious.
All praises be to Allah SWT, the lord of the world, the master of the day
after and the creator of this universe, where he has no partner. He also
given us such deeply enjoyable, healthy comfort, we could attend here in
a good situation.
Peace and Salutation be upon our prophet Muhammad SAW, who has
taught us the cardinal principles of the unity of God, obliged us to confess
it with the tongue and believe it in our heart. He also has brought us from
the darkness to the brightness, from stupidity to cleverness, in the other
word Minazzhulumaati ilannuur.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Indeed, it is very great pleasure for me in this chance to deliver my
speech to the most honorable audiences entitled:
The Importance Of Mastering English
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Language plays an important role in human life. By using language
someone could make statements, confess fact and knowledge, explain of
report something, and keep social relations among the language users.
These indicate that by means of language, people can express their ideas,
feeling,information and through communication.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
As one of language in the world, English is considered and applied
as international language. Since then, it is very popular and have been
spoken and learn by almost people in the world. There are some reason
why English is important for us. Some of them are: for finding job,
travelling, doing bussiness, taking examination, writing in the foreign
language, interacting one each other in the other country. Such as
myself , i want mastering english to get many friends in the other country
and finding a good job.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
After Mandarin, English is spoken by more people than any other
language, and is the native language of more than 350 million people.
More people speak English than those who speak the Arabic and French
languages combined. Moreover, English is the international language of
business, science, technology, banking, computing, medicine,
engineering, tourism, Hollywood films and arguably the best pop and rock
music in the world.
English can be fun too. For instance, the music of such stars as Elvis
Presley, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson and Madonna has
encouraged fans to speak the language of their idols, whilst others have
enrolled in English classes to improve their understanding of the dialogue

in films and TV shows. Or perhaps they have embraced English to enjoy

the writing of Stephen King, George Orwell or J.K. Rowling. They may even
have an interest in speaking English just to converse with travellers from
other countries, who communicate by using the English global interlingua
while travelling abroad.
In such developing country like Indonesia, English has a vital role in
all aspects of life, particularly in science and technology. Furthermore, it
can be used for developing relationship in the international forum, for
reading English Book (especially for students from Primary school up to
university). As students, we learn English are intenden to abtain various
knowledge and understand the textbook learned in English, to gain
knowledge and skills, and to be ready enter to the university.
If you are studying English at school or university, remember that
getting an A grade in English is almost worthless, in terms of
communication, if you cannot speak the language. Spoken English is used
in the best careers, the best universities, and is increasingly being used at
job interviews. So like it or not, English is a very important language to
learn how to speak. Looking at the important roles of English, that is why
English is very important to understand and master by every people
through the world since before.
My beloved brothers and sisters,
At the end of my speech, ill quote a wise expressions: STAND UP,
SPEAK UP, BE COUNTED YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE. WITH
MASTERING ENGLISH YOU CAN BE A DIAMOND PERSON. This
expression reminds us how importance of English human life is. Make your
parents proud of you, if we want to be a skilful scientist and be able to
compete with the other countries in the wold, we must understand,
master and learn the language they use, namely English.
Before ending this speech, let me conclude points of my speech:
-English is an important language
-English is a key to open your brilliant future
-As student of high school, we have to prepare ourselves by learning hard
the subjects and practicularly English.
-By mastering English enables us to become survive and go anywhere
throughout the world.
knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we
must do so we must do and practice our english as well as we
can.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I think its enough for my speech. I hope this speech will be useful for us,
especially myself. Amin. The wrong utterances are caused by limitation of
my ability and the right one is merely from ALLAH SWT. So, im sorry if ive
a mistake. Finally i say:
