TEMPLARS IN AMERICA

A recent investigation by Jos Antonio Hurtado defends the idea that a

Mallorcan fleet came to America 150 years before Columbus, following the
"Route T and D". This american visit by Mallorcans had comercial objectives
and supposedly seem to have evidence that its the same route used by
members of the Order of the Temple, better known as Templars.
In the fourteenth century, Mallorcan sailors found a route to America that was
embodied in a map, the route was known and followed 150 years later by
Christopher Columbus, violating a treaty with Portugal, and counting with the
complicity of the Catholic Monarchs; the Daily data were falsified by the
Columbus family, to ascribe the glory of a discovery that belonged to the
Pinzon brothers, and by the secret services of Catholics, to avoid to know about
the violation of treaty Alcaovas -Toledo.
T and D are the initials for "Templum Domine", the templar house of
Jerusalem and its sign is associated to templar places. The arrival point of the
route T and D, rich from a commercial perspective, was originally the Yucatan,
an area that Columbus never found.
More and more experts are saying that the Templar fleet reached America and
established a secret trade route could serve them later to escape when the
order was persecuted in the year 1307. Some Templar symbols were
discovered in the U.S. coast of Maine, also different locations in Central and
South America suggest it, as well as representations of Amerindians in
european templar monuments.
After the dissolution of the Templar Order, the Templar spaniards joined the
Order of Calatrava, and it seems certain that it was in the convent of the order
where Christopher Columbus, who stayed there, found the elements that gave
the certainty of the existence of the West Indies. In Portugal was created
especially for the Templar survivors the Order of Christ, which used the Templar
cross. When the Portuguese crew of Enrique the Navigator was launched to
discover the oceans, they seemed to know exactly where they were going;
their sails should have, necessarily, the red cross of the Templar Order. The
portuguese sailors were forbidden to sail beyond Cape Mogador if not carrying
the cross. Cross that was also in the three columbian ships. Precisely in the
neighbouring country was the Genoese admiral, not only to find financing for
his trip, but in order to study marine charts that kept the Order of Christ and
were considered the most complete in the world.

Moreover, the Temple had its own fleet and ports that looked not only to the
Mediterranean, but also the Atlantic.
For its part, the Spanish conquerors found in the Yucatn peninsula, a legend
which told that some white men came to its shores in large ships. And these
men, dressed in strange clothes, were generous, and taught the Mayans their
great knowledge.
One of the things that amazed the religious who accompanied Columbus, was
that the Indians werent surprised to see the cross, nor to see the knights.
Furthermore, it even seemed that they were waiting for them.
Some Indian traditions spoke of will come a day when great men come by sea,
dressed in metal, that will change their lives for the better. The Mayans also
worshiped Kukulkan, a white, bearded god, and a cross, in which died a
lighted man who will live forever.
After the public disappearance of the Order of the Templars, their traditions
continued in other military-religious orders, such as the Order of Calatrava, who
used the cross of Calatrava, which was also used as a symbol for the Order of
Preachers, popularly known as Dominicans and Dominican Order. Its a
mendicant order founded by Santo Domingo de Guzmn in Toulouse, France.
His habit is white with a tunic, scapular, a hood and a black cape.
