ORACLE FUSION ACCOUNTING HUB REPORTING CLOUD SERVICE

Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub Reporting Cloud Service (FAH Reporting Cloud Service) provides Oracle
R12 E-Business Suite customers with exceptional reporting and analytics on top of their existing general
ledger systems.
PRE-BUILT INTEGRATION BETWEEN FUSION ACCOUNTING HUB CLOUD SERVICE AND R12 EBUSINESS SUITE
The pre-built integration between the two systems allows Oracle R12 E-Business Suite customers to gain
real-time access to information and improve business decisions with no disruption to their current
financial processes. Oracle R12 E-Business Suite customers can continue to use their current financial
processes for day-to-day operational accounting, and then use FAH Reporting Cloud Service for their
corporate reporting and analysis.
The tight integration continuously streams balances from Oracle R12 E-Business Suite general ledgers to
the FAH Reporting Cloud Service, ensuring reports are always based on the latest numbers with
complete drilldown support to the E-Business Suite detail balances, journal lines and subledger
transactions.

Setup data from Oracle R12 E-Business Suite is automatically synchronized with FAH Reporting Cloud
Service, eliminating the need for customers to perform additional setup, configuration, or costly
integrations. And because it is available on the Cloud, Oracle R12 E-Business Suite customers can
eliminate expensive hardware, system management, and IT costs.
STEPS TO ENABLE
1. Sign up for Fusion Accounting Hub Reporting Cloud Service at cloud.us.oracle.com
2. You receive details of environment URL, username and password.
3. Download E-Business Suite patch 19282049 and apply to test environment.
4. From E-Business Suite, complete one step configuration to set up Fusion Accounting Hub
Reporting Cloud Service. This new setup page is included in the E-Business Suite patch
19282049:R12.GL.B

5. Specify the top revenue account, top cost of sales account (if applicable), and top operating
expenses account on the setup page. All the other setup data are automatically synchronized
from Oracle R12 E-Business Suite to FAH Reporting Cloud Service.
6. You will receive an email with links to auto-generated Oracle Fusion Financials reports that
include income statement and trial balance reports, so you can immediately view reports of
your data in Fusion Accounting Hub Cloud.
TIPS AND CONSIDERATIONS

Default setting for streaming balances is every 2 hours, and you can configure it in the
parameter for Transfer Balances to Fusion Accounting Hub Reporting Cloud Service
process.
After receiving the default username, you can set up additional users and security in FAH
Reporting Cloud Service.

You can define additional hierarchies and additional financial reports as you need.
The FAH Reporting Cloud Service does not support streaming multiple E-Business Suite
instances even if they share the same chart of accounts. It only supports a single E-Business
Suite instance to one Cloud Service.
Oracle's best practice is to follow this migration strategy:
1. Stream your E-Business Suite test environment to your FAH Reporting Cloud Service test
environment.
After this you should validate that balances and setup data are as expected. Review the
automatically generated reports and make any changes, create any additional reports
that may be needed, create any desired Account Groups in order to use the Account
Monitor feature, test Smart View reporting, and test any data security (if required).
2. Contact Oracle Support to reset the FAH Reporting Cloud Service test environment.
3. Stream your E-Business Suite production environment to your FAH Reporting Cloud
Service test environment.
At this point we would recommend performing user acceptance testing and user
training, testing of all reports, tying out balances, and creating any data security that is
required.
4. Stream your E-Business Suite production environment to your FAH Reporting Cloud
Service production environment.

Accounting Hub Reporting Cloud Service.

SIMPLIFIED USER INTERFACE FOR MOBILE FINANCIAL REPORTING CENTER

You now gain real-time visibility to financial reports and can actively perform account monitoring
anytime and anywhere with the tablet-optimized Mobile Financial Reporting Center. This feature
delivers mobile support, making it easier for you to access information from your tablet or desktop.
Your executives, managers, controllers, accountants, and analysts can quickly access all financial results.
The Mobile Financial Reporting Center leverages the Essbase cube to support multidimensional analysis
and reporting capabilities.

This feature is integrated with Oracle Social Network which allows you to open up communications and
promotes teamwork during the financial reporting review process.

Additionally, the new Sunburst visualization tool allows you to interact with your account balances
across various business dimensions to view balances from different perspectives. For example, you can
view quarterly regional sales and identify sales trends that are visually represented by size and color to
indicate whether that region's sales increased or decreased over the quarter.
