Having also come to grips that her powers are a blessing and not a curse, Elsa uses them

to create a
wintry spectacle in the summer sky, and turns the main grounds of the castle into an ice rink, where she
informs Anna that the gates to the castle will never be closed again. With the village's people in
attendance, the sisters then begin to skate around the ice rink, happy in the fact that they are finally back
together again.

Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) is more daring than graceful and, at times, can act before she
thinks. But she's also the most optimistic and caring person you'll ever meet. She longs to
reconnect with her sister, Elsa, as they were close during their childhood. When Elsa
accidentally unleashes a magical secret that locks the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter,
Anna embarks on a dangerous adventure to make things right. Armed with only her
fearlessness, a never-give-up attitude and her faith in others, Anna is determined to save both
her kingdom and her family
Anna is a beautiful young girl with a slender figure and a fair complexion. She has glittering blue eyes,
long strawberry-blonde hair tied into two pigtail braids, and bangs on the right side of her forehead, and
has a dusting of freckles (a trait she shares with her sister, Elsa the Snow Queen, even though Elsa
appears to have less freckles than Anna does). Her face is slightly rounder than Elsa's, but still just as
pretty. She also has a platinum blonde streak that matches Elsa's hair color, on the right side of her hair,
due to an accident in which she was struck by Elsa's magic when she and Elsa were little.

From the outside, Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel) looks poised, regal and reserved, but in reality,
she lives in fear as she wrestles with a mighty secretshe was born with the power to create
ice and snow. It's a beautiful ability, but also extremely dangerous. Haunted by the moment her
magic nearly killed her younger sister Anna, Elsa has isolated herself, spending every waking
minute trying to suppress her growing powers. Her mounting emotions trigger the magic,
accidentally setting off an eternal winter that she can't stop. She fears she's becoming a
monster and that no one, not even her sister, can help her.
Elsa is a strikingly beautiful young woman with a tall, slender figure, platinum blonde hair that reaches a
few inches above her elbows, blue eyes, and pale skin (Elsa's skin appears to be fairer and brighter
thanAnna's skin) with a light dusting of freckles (a trait she shares with her sister Anna). She has the face
of her mother, as during her coronation, she bore a striking resemblance to the Queen, albeit with a
different hair color. In her pre-Snow Queen state, she wore a teal dress with a sweetheart bodice with
bronze lacing, black sleeves and magenta cape, and her hair was kept back in a French braided crown
twist bun. Ever since the accident with Anna at age 8, Elsa wore white gloves to contain her powers, but
at her coronation, she wore longer, cyan gloves that go with her outfit.
In her Snow Queen state, Elsa wears her hair in a left side braid woven with snowflake incrustation, and
swisps of her bangs slicked back on top of her head. She wears a crystal-blue, off-the-shoulder dress
made out of ice with a right knee-high slit, a crystallized bodice, powder blue sleeves and ice shoes. At
the back of her bodice is a long, transparent cape of sheer ice draped down from her sleeves and
decorated with big snowflakes.

Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) is a true outdoorsman. He lives high up in the mountains
where he harvests ice and sells it to the kingdom of Arendelle. Rough around the edges,
Kristoff's the strong, no-nonsense type, who follows his own set of rules. He may seem like a
loner, but he always has his best friend by his sidea loyal and extremely mangy reindeer
named Sven.
Kristoff is a tall, good-looking, slender 21-year old man. He is also quite muscular and strong, no doubt
from his several years as an ice harvester. He has blond hair
Kristoff is a bit of an individualist, and acts as a loner. He can also be rather grumpy and selfish at times,
as well as lazy. But with all these flaws comes a heart of gold, as well, as the ice harvester has shown
multiple times throughout the film that he has a loving heart, and deeply cares for those who treat him
with sympathy and love in return,

A reindeer with the heart of a Labrador, Sven is Kristoff's loyal friend, sleigh-puller and
conscience. He makes sure his mountain-man companion is the stand-up guy Sven knows and
loves, and does so without saying a word. A few emphatic snorts usually get his point across.
Life would be perfect if only Kristoff would lose that ridiculous reindeer voice he likes to use
when speaking for Sven (as if reindeers really talk that way).
Sven is goofy, loyal, rather childish, and has the heart of a Labrador, as mentioned above. He spends
most of the film by Kristoff's side, acting as his closest friend and conscience. And while Sven may not
seem incredibly intelligent, he does have a strong moral character. Throughout the film, he constantly
convinces Kristoff to do the right thing

Hans (voice of Santino Fontana) is a handsome royal from a neighboring kingdom who comes
to Arendelle for Elsa's coronation. With 12 older brothers, Hans grew up feeling practically
invisibleand Anna can relate. Hans is smart, observant and chivalrous. Unlike Elsa, Hans
promises he'll never shut Anna out; he just might be the connection she's been waiting for all
these years.
Hans is a devilish prince with a hunger for admiration, power, obedience and honor. Being the youngest
sibling of thirteen princes, Hans spent a portion of his life being ignored and treated unfairly
Hans is handsome, slender and generally good looking.

He's Olaf (voice of Josh Gad) and he likes warm hugs. Sprung from Elsa's magical powers, Olaf
is by far the friendliest snowman to walk the mountains above Arendelle. His innocence,
outgoing personality and uncanny ability to disassemble himself at good and not-so-good times
lead to some awkward, albeit laughable moments. He may also have the world's most impossible
dream, but what he doesn't know won't melt himor will it?
Olaf is goofy and naive, but extremely lovable and caring towards his friends, especially Anna and Elsa.
Because he was built during their childhood, Olaf retains the childlike personaility that filled Anna and Elsa
during those years, appearing to be very whimsical and playful when he returns as an enchanted
snowman years later. He has an odd fascination for summer, possibly because young Elsa made him a
snowman who loves warm hugs, and according to Olaf, he sometimes fantasizes about what summer
would be like for a snowman, completely unaware of the tad consequences of his ambitious dream,
making the poor snowman hapless. Olaf is also very giggly and tends to laugh a lot.

What the Duke of Weselton (voice of Alan Tudyk) lacks in stature, he makes up for in arrogance
and showboating. He's determined to get close to the new queenthat is, until Elsa's magical
secret is revealed. Then he's the first to call her a monster and try to turn her own kingdom
against heranything that might help him exploit Arendelle's tradable goods.
he Duke of Weselton is in no way heartless or evil. He is, however, heavily pompous and greedy, though
it's portrayed in a humorous manner throughout the film.

Marshmallow is an enormous icy snowman born from Elsa's powers. He serves as a brute
bodyguard charged with keeping intruders away from her ice palace. The menacing white beast
doesn't say much, but he packs a powerful punch.
Marshmallow appears to represent Elsa's powerful desire to be left alone. Because of this, he is
extremely aggressive and territorial to intruders or others who try to enter the castle except Elsa, whom he
was made to protect. He is incredibly devoted to her and this role, and continued this even when he was
injured.

These ancient creatures might be found in the Valley of the Living Rock,
but only if they want to be found. Trolls are masters of minerals and
yielders of the night sky. They are also overbearing, loud, meddlesome,
innappropriate and heavyreally heavy. But they mean well and love well.
