The Quality Assurance is accountable for:

Following and implementing QA routines

Ensuring that all tests are properly executed

Main Responsibilities
Routines

Perform risk assessments on: Hangers, Style sample, Quotation sample

and an order placement Focus on: The most important orders, New suppliers and
New materials
Perform tests on hangers and new materials as well as counter samples and

production sample testing

Perform internal lab physical tests using H&Ms test methods
Initiate andfollow up on external lab test for physical tests
Register alltests and risk assessments according to the quality routine, and
follow it up

Cooperation with other teams

Work closely with the R&D team, Product Developer, Sourcing team and

Technicians to analyze potential quality problems already in the development

stage. Share knowledgeabout possible solutions
Support the Material team in interpreting Fabric Technical Data Sheets
Cooperate closelywith the other colleagues in the Quality Assurance team
Get trend feedback from the Product Developer and R&D team
Attend local fashion fairs/exhibitions together with the Product Developer /

R&D andreport potential quality problems to the Quality Assurance team

Visit factories together with R&D / Product Developer / Sourcing teams
Give productionteams continuous feedback on failed production and counter
samples

Cooperation with H&M suppliers, the Buying Office / Global

Purchasing Organization (GPO) and other Production teams

Coordinate with supplier lab technicians to support them to implement Quality

Assurance routines & testing properly
Randomly followup bulk production
Visit Externallaboratories to learn about new/existing testing method

Requireinformation about new materials, tests and risks from other Countries
as well as from the Buying Office / GPO

Education and Experience requirements

Graduate from atextile or technical high school, preferably the chemistry dept.
or chemistryengineering dept. of a university

Preferably experience in a textiles lab, dye house, print house,or similar

position in a supplier or representative office.
Colour technicians must have superior colour vision. (Should havea score
of a minimum of 16 on the Farnsworth-Mansell 100 hue colour test.)
