Scene 1:

Actors: Black, Father and Brother

Location: Blacks House
The scene takes place at the living room of Blacks house. Black is stealing money from his
fathers wallet, suddenly Blacks father came from his room and scold Blacks support by his
brother.

FATHER: Hey son what are you doing? Are you stealing money in my wallet. Why do you need
the money for, I already gave you yesterday.
Black: No I did not steal anything, I just put your wallet inside the drawer.
Father: Dont lie to me. This is not the first time you have stolen money from my wallet. What
are you doing with all the money. If you do this again I will chase you out from my house.
Black: I already said to you I did not take your money!! (walk away from the living room)
Father: Stop there, where are you going? Look at your brother and how he is studying for the
exam but you always hang out with your friends and smoke. If you did not get pass marks in
your exam this time, surely I throw you out from this house.
Brother: Brother, why you making father mad? Why dont you want to be the son that father
wants you to be?
Black: You shut your mouth. I know what Im doing.
Brother: Brother, dont talk like that. Please wake up!
Black: I said shut your mouth. Do you understand what im saying?
Suddenly Black push his brother down get out from the house.

Scene 2:
Actors: Black, Jonny and Retailer Bhai
Location: Mamak stall
The scene take place in front of an old man mamak stall. Blacks friends is waiting in front the
mamak stall for Black.
Black and his friend go into the mamak stall to buy cigaretes. The retailer advised the teenagers.

Bhai: Yes boys, what you guys want?

Jonny? Uncle give me a packet of cigaretes Dunhill.
Bhai: Boss you look so young, as an old man I advise you guy please not start smoking at this
age,is bad for your health and also causes an effect to the public.
Jonny: Hey uncle you dont need to advise us. Today it has already been four years. We know
what we are doing.
Black: Hey old man we gave you the money, you just give the cigaretes.
Bhai: You boys are like my grandchildrens , please listen to my advice.

Without saying anything Black and his friend left the mamak stall.

Scene 3:
Actors: Black and Jonny
Location: Motorbike parking area
This scene take place at street of a public place. After buying the cigarete Black and his friend
hanging out on the street while smoking in the public place.

Jonny: Black give me the lighter

Black: Wait. I ignite it first. Jonny why do these peoples like to restrain us from smoking. If
smoking is really bad why does the government still approve of selling it
Jonny: Yes. Black what you are saying is right. It can relieve us from stress. Almost everybody is
smoking but not everybody dies.
Black: Who cares? It relives my stress so I smoke it.

While Black and his friend, talking the people who are walking in the street are feeling uneasy.

Scene 4:
Actors: Black, Jonny and Retailer Bhai
Location: Motorbike parking area
The scene take place in front of the Bhai shop. After buying the cigaretes, Black and his friend
started smoking in front of the mamak stall. While smoking Black started to cough very seriously
and the retailer send him to the hospital.

Jonny: Uncle give me a pack of cigaretes.

Bhai: Here you go.
Black: (starts to cough)
Jonny: Black why are you coughing? Are you not feel well?
Black: I dont know nowadays I have coughing regularly.
(Starts to cough seriously and vomit blood.)
Jonny: Black what happened to you?
(Panic and asked for the retailers help)
Bhai: Oh my god what happened to you son.
(Taking Black to the hospital)

Scene 5:
Actors: Black, Jonny, Blacks father, Blacks brother, doctor and Retailer Bhai
Location: Hospital
This scene take place at hospital. The retailer admits Black at the he hospital and the doctor give
treatment to Black.

Bhai: Doctor this boy is vomiting blood

Doctor: What happened to this boy? Put him on the bed.
Jonny: We were smoking doctor, suddenly he vomited blood.
Doctor: Oh ok, you two can wait outside, after checkup I will inform you.

Meanwhile, the retailer informed the incident to Blacks father. After a while Blacks father and
his brother came to the hospital.

Father: What happened to my son?

Retailer: Your son was smoking and suddenly vomited blood. Thats why your sons friend and I
took him here.
Father: Oh my God! God please save my son.

The doctor finished his checkup and Blacks father was waiting outside the consulating room.

Doctor: I am sorry Sir, your son has throat cancer.

Father: (became very shocked and just sat on the chair wordless)
Brother: Oh my God! Doctor cant you do something to save my brother?
Doctor: Can, your brother is in first stage of the cancer. I can save him but need to do a surgery.
Father: Please doctor do everything you can to save my son.
Doctor: Ok Sir, I will do the surgery immediately but Sir you need to sign here first.

The father signed a letter they doctor gave to him and everybody waited outside the surgery
room and prayed for Black. After the surgery. Doctor came out from the surgery room.

Father: How is my son doctor?

Doctor: He is in safe now but he needs help from a tube to continue to live his life.
Father: Oh my son, Im so sad for you.

Scene 6:
Actors: Black, Jonny, Blacks father, Blacks brother, doctor and Retailer Bhai
Location: Hospital
After a few days Blacks father, brother, friend, retailer and the doctor was in a room with Black.

Father: How are you soon? Are you feeling ok?

Doctor: Sorry Sir , has not fully recovered and he is unable to speak.
Jonny: Black dont feel sad we are all with you whatever happens.
Bhai: (talking to friend) Look son what happened to your friend after this you must quit smoking
to stay healthy.
Doctor: Smoking is injurious to health. It is also dangerous to others health. If want to stay
healthy, quit smoking.

(Showing slowly Blacks face with tears. THE END)
