Script eSupervision System

Hi, Welcome to this eSupervision System Demonstration


Session. My name is Abraham Awguagbaka, and i am so happy
to have you on board. I encourage to sit back, relax and watch
to the end of this record session, as I demonstrate the fully
implemented

eSupervision

system.

Thank

This recording is aimed to demonstrate the workings of
the developed eSupervision system. Before I begin the
demonstration, I will like to give an insight behind the
developed system.
This demonstration is conducted in partial fulfilment of the
University of Greenwich BSc Computing Undergraduate Degree
Program.
//This course is COMP 1640: Enterprise Web Software
development. And this is group 1, comprising a Scrum Master
(Abraham Awguagbaka) and a Team Member (Lawrence).

the site is role-based, having

different permissions for different users.


For admin role: the username is (Boss) and the password is
(abelaw).
For Staff role: the username is (staff1) and the password is
(staff1).

For student role: the username is (student1) and the password


is (student 1).//
Moving ahead:
The eSupervision system was designed to interface with
university registration system, utilizing the data of registered
student and staff in the university. In order to fully understand
the demonstration and where it session is heading, the
requirements for the system will be presented.
Manager Role:
First an authorised member of staff of the university can
assign student to a supervisor and to a second marker.
Secondly, the authorised member of staff can also make a
bulk allocation of student to second marker and to staff.
And finally the authorised member of staff can track all
the member activities, send them messages but cant
alter any content of the members.
Staff Role:
Staff member can upload and share document to student.
Staff member can also comment on student shared
documents.
Staff member can organise meeting with student.
And finally track all their student activities.
Student
Student can upload and share document with a member of
staff.
Student can also blog with the system.

Student can view the meeting organised by a member of


staff
And can send message to a members of staff.

After understanding the scope of the system, the system will be


demonstrated.
Manger
Manager assigning student to staff
Student and staff receiving notification of the assignment.
Manager making Bulk allocation of student, staff link and
second marker
Showing the notification in the email box.
Manager tracking the members and their activities and
sending them messages.
Student
Student authenticate with site with his/her registration
login details provided by the university.
Student can upload and share a document to a member

of staff.
Student can also view staff shared document.
Student can sent messages to a member of staff
student can blog with system
Student view and comment on the meeting organised.

Staff
A staff authenticate with site with his/her registration login
details also provided by the university.
Staff can upload and share document to student
Staff and also view student document sheared with them
Staff can organise meeting with student

Staff can track all their student activities with system.
