1. Prayer

2. Greeting
Good morning children.

The pupils will stand up and pray.

Good morning classmates.

Before you seat down, kindly pick up the


pieces of paper under your desks. Seat down
properly and listen.
3. Checking of attendance
Is there any absent in Group 1?
Group 2? How about in Group 3, is there any
absent? And in Group 4?
I am glad that no one is absent today.
For having a perfect attendance, let us give
yourself a Very good clap. Ready begin.
4. Energizing Song

The leader of the group will stand and report.

different pictures related to actions. I will call
somebody to pick a picture, then youre going
to act that certain action. One of your
classmates will guess what he/she is doing. Is
that clear?

we will identify and use action words in simple
sentences.

Explanation:
Diego and He are singular subjects. The
s or es form of the verb is used with
singular subjects.
Greet and talk are in the simple form of
the verb. They are used with the plural
subjects.

subject is singular?
When the subject is plural?

The s or es form of the verb is used when


the subject is singular.
The simple form of the verb is used when
the subject is plural.

4. Practice Exercises
a. Guided Practice
Work by pairs. Lets talk about the
pictures on the chart. Set a partner. Your
partner will identify the action in the picture
while you will use the action word in a simple
sentence.
