INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
TheDoorbell(2GIGDBELL1345)isadualpurposedoorbellthatcan
beinstalledwiththedwellingsexisting24Vwiringorusingthe345
MHzradiofrequency:
WiredInstallation.Wheninstalledasawireddoorbellwiththe
homesexisting24ACwiring,thebellisfullywaterresistantand
thepushbuttonremainsilluminated.
WirelessInstallation.Wheninstalledasawirelessdoorbell,it
featuresafullywaterresistantbutton.Itcommunicateswiththe
controlpanelusingthe345MHzfrequency.Thepushbuttondoes
notremainilluminated.

Ensurethattheorientationarrowsonthebasearepointedina
upwardsdirectionasshowninFigure3 below.

IMPORTANT: TheDoorbellonlyilluminateswhenusedinawired

installation.

Ifpossible,locatesensorswithin100ft(30m)ofthe2GIGControl
Panel.Whileatransmittermayhavearangeof350ft(106m)ormore
outintheopen,theenvironmentattheinstallationsitecanhavea
significanteffectonthetransmitterrange.
IMPORTANT: Althoughthedoorbellhasbeendesignedto

withstandweatherandfeaturesaweepholefordraining,itis
recommendedthatyouavoidmountingthesensorinareas
thatmaybesubjecttoextrememoisture.

Replacethesensorcover.
Ensurethatthedrain(weephole)isfacingdownward.

NOTE: Ifthecoverdoesnotsnapinplace,theDoorbellmayhave

beeninstalledupsidedown.

Inserting and Replacing the Battery

Toinsertorreplacethebattery:
1 Unwrapthedoorbell.
2 Insertasmallflatheadscrewdriveratthetopthebackplateto
removeit.
3 Usethebatterypulltabtoremovetheoldbattery.
IMPORTANT: Alwaysdisposeand/orrecycleusedbatteriesin

Toinstallandmountthedoorbell:
1 Removethesensorcoverbypressingthetab.Thisdisengagesthe
clipthatholdsthecovertothebase.
2 (Optional)IfconnectingtheDoorbelltotheexisting24Vwiring,
pulltheexisting24ACwiringthroughthehole.
