Some animal species such as dinosaurs and dodos become extinct because of natural processes. So, it
is not necessary to try and prevent this from happening. Do you agree or disagree?

We were given a line graph comparing the amount of energy generated by wind in 4 countries US,

Many countries spend large amounts of money on world sporting events such as the Olympic Games
and football World Cup. Instead these monies can be spent on encouraging young children to take up
sports at a young age. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Section 1. A phone conversation with a travel agency regarding a trip
booking.
Section 2. Dont remember.
Section 3. A conversation between two teachers about different activities
children did. There was a picture of a science experiment they conducted and we needed to name its
parts.
Section 4. About food safety.
Reading test
Passage 1. A historical article about the invention of money in different parts of the world.

Writing task 1 (a letter)
Write a letter to the Airport Manager, about a flight that you missed for your business trip because of a
problem that occurred at the airport. Please explain in your letter:
- What was the problem?
- What happened as a result of the missed flight?
- What would you like him/her to do about it?
Writing Task 2 (an essay)
In some countries students who misbehave have to leave the school and are not allowed to continue
their education. In other countries they can return to their studies after a suspension period. Discuss
