Easter Lilies and Mission Kits

You are invited to place an Easter Lily


in the sanctuary on Easter Sunday,
April 5th. The cost per lily is $12 or you
may make one or more $12
contributions towards the Mission
Kits we will assemble to take to the
Virginia United Methodist Annual
Conference in June. These kits will be
distributed to people in need in the
US and elsewhere around the world.
Donations of lilies and contributions
towards Mission Kits will be
acknowledged in the worship bulletin
on Sunday, April 5th.
Complete the order form, attach
payment, and place in the offering
plate.
Checks should be made
payable to Aldersgate United
Methodist Church.

Campbell (Recording Secretary of
Church Council) announced that,
after a year of discernment, the
Church Council decided to a
change in the Sunday morning
schedule at Aldersgate effective
June 7, 2015. The change stems
from a commitment to an
Invitational Mission Model with an
outward community focus. At
10:00 a.m., there will be a number
of new offerings for fellowship,
small group discipleship, and
Sunday School for all ages. The
two worship services will be 9:00
a.m. Blended Worship and 11:00
a.m. Traditional Worship. Please
pick up your copy of Billies
comments and the brochure,

HAITI Mission Trip


Dr. Dave Reynolds will be leaving
on his 13th medical mission trip to
Cap Haitian Haiti on April 11th.
Financial aid is needed to buy
formula, AK meal, medicines and
other supplies to help the people
of the Cap Haitian area. Last year,
this team saw close to 2,500
patients and provided a large
amount of nutritional support to
the people of northern Haiti. Your
generosity was instrumental to the
success of this mission team.

Methodist congregations for a
special day of training and
coaching on how to reach new
people in our community. Lunch is

mow about once every 5 weeks
