Sacrament of Baptism
Baptism is the first step to become a Catholic Christian. Parents who wish to baptize their children agree to raise them in the Catholic faith. For more
information about the requirements for infant baptisms, check the bulletin or call Deacon Dan. Classes are the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Faith
Formation Complex room 13 at 9 am. For Spanish, classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Faith Formation Complex room 13.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
God loves us and wants to forgive our sins. You can experience Gods unconditional love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This
sacrament is available on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:00 am, and on Saturdays, English & Spanish, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, or at other times by
contacting a priest. For Spanish call Fr. Bruno.

Sacrament of Marriage
Please contact the parish a minimum of six months prior to the wedding. Do not set a date prior to your first appointment with a priest or
deacon. If the wedding is to take place elsewhere, please seek advice from our clergy. For more information, please contact Deacon Dan at
565-8406. For Spanish call Fr. Bruno at 565-8406.

Funeral Arrangements
Please contact Deacon Dan in the Parish Office at 565-8406 as soon as possible after a death to make the funeral arrangements. Services can
be in English, Spanish or Bilingual.

A hospital chaplain covers all hospitals. In an emergency, please contact the hospital. After hours, please leave a message with the Parish
Office and you will be contacted the next business day.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

The annual Pontifical Good Friday Collection will be taken on

Good Friday. Through this collection you join Catholics around
the world that stand in solidarity with the Church in the Holy
Land.

La colecta anual pontificia del Viernes Santo se llevar a cabo

durante el Viernes Santo. A travs de esta colecta nos unimos
a todos los catlicos del mundo en solidaridad con la Iglesia en
la Tierra Santa.

Funds from last years Good Friday Collection, in addition to

keeping the holy shrines maintained, went to support 29
parishes, four homes for orphans, three academic institutions
and over 100 men preparing to be priests or brothers.

El ao pasado, los fondos de la colecta del Viernes Santo,

adems de mantener los lugares sagrados, pudo dar ayuda
financiera a 29 parroquias, cuatro hogares para hurfanos, tres
instituciones acadmicas y a ms de 100 varones preparndose
para ser sacerdotes o religiosos.

When Pope Francis visited the Holy Land last spring he affirmed
the work of the Franciscans expressing that that the Holy Land
is alive with Christian communities. This is due to the good
work of the Franciscans and generosity of all Catholics
throughout the world.

Cuando el Papa Francisco visit la Tierra Santa, el ao pasado,

afirm que el trabajo de los franciscanos demuestra que la
Tierra Santa est viva con comunidades cristianas. Esto se
debe al buen trabajo de los franciscanos y la generosidad de
todos los catlicos en el mundo.

The Pontifical Good Friday Collection is needed now more than

ever to sustain Christianity in the Holy Land. With your support,
the Franciscans and others provide formation and education,
minister in parishes, build homes and feed the hungry. And,
shrines in the Holy Land are maintained so pilgrims can still
walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Having had the privilege to visit
the Holy Land with 30 pilgrims this past fall I can attest to the
wonder of being able to visit the shrines and Churches.

La Colecta Pontificia del Viernes Santo es necesaria hoy ms que

nunca para que se mantenga el cristianismo en la Tierra Santa.
Con su ayuda, los franciscanos y otros proveen formacin y
educacin, actividades pastorales en las parroquias, construyen

the Mass of Sacred Chrism to be
held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at
6:00 p.m. at the Guardian Angel
Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. At
this liturgy the sacred oils that are used to
anoint the newly baptized, those being
confirmed, the sick and dying, the newly
ordained will be blessed by the bishop for each
parish. Our priests will renew
their vows of Holy Orders. It

Bethlehem wood carving is here this weekend

to sell Olive wood carvings from the Holy Land. Proceeds from
the sale will be used to support more than 600 Catholic and
Christian families living in Bethlehem, who are facing very
hard times because of the clashes in the Middle East.
