James Woody Community Center

The James Woody Community Center and the Town Hall Recreation
Center offer several rooms for individuals or community groups to rent for
recreational and educational purposes, weddings, reunions and other
celebrations. Several parks are also available for your next birthday or
family picnic.

Amenities

Apple Valley Country Club

The newest recreation amenity in the Town of Apple Valley is the Apple Valley Country Club.
Celebrating 60 years in 2008, the Apple Valley Country Club is known for having the best greens in
the High Desert and the Town is excited to open this community icon for public benefit. Amenities now
available for public use include an 18-hole golf course, two tennis courts, banquet and meeting rooms.
The golf course is open Tuesday through Sunday, 7 am-5 pm, closed on Mondays.

3 Diamond Skate Park

Check out the only FREE public skate park in the High Desert at James Woody Community Center
Park! The park features ramps, banks, grinding blocks, a bowl and more. Skateboards, in-line skates and
scooters are allowed (no bikes).
All skaters please be aware that the Town of Apple Valley has adopted Town Ordinance 11.68.060, the
requirement for wearing the required safety gear (helmet, elbow and knee pads) at all times while in the
skate park. The rules are enforceable and citable. Thank you in advance for obeying the law.
The park is open 9:00 am - dusk.
