their friendship did not last. One day, a handsome prince from a land afar came to Sarawak.
Both of the princesses fell in love with the same prince. The prince had to choose only one of
them. From that day onwards, they started to quarrel with each other every day. Both of them
forgot their responsibilities to take care of the mountains and people. The people suffered from
this and natural disasters came one after the other. The King of Heaven, who was angry with
both of them for fighting over a man, put a cursed on them. He turned them into mountains,
Mount Santubong and Mount Sejinjang.
