Us) for Piano, Four Hands (1983), Widmann
Selections from 24 Duos for Violin and Cello
(2008), Bermel Death with Interruptions for
Piano, Violin, and Cello (CMS CoCommission, New York Premiere) (2014),
Kernis Two Movements (with Bells) for Violin

EXHIBITION OPENING
Inside Out at Gallery Molly Krom is a group
show of recent photographs by Swiss artist
Francois Ilnseher, Robin Randisi and Eve
K. Tremblay. The opening reception will take
place on Sunday, April 19 from 6 8pm. The
exhibition will be on view through May 10.

EXHIBITION
The Simons Center Gallery presents a solo
exhibition by Zimoun, an internationally
acclaimed artist of kinetic sound sculpture,
sound architecture and installation art. KE,
part of the exhibition title, refers to the
physics symbol for kinetic energy describing
the energy an object possesses due to its
motion.

GROUP EXHIBITION
Swiss artist Pedro Wirz presents his work in
the thesis exhibition Point of Contact as part
of the Moves & Countermoves exhibition
featuring selected works from the Marieluise
Hessel Collection at the Center for Curatorial
Studies and Hessel Museum of Art at Bard
College. Inspired by both the rave party and
the research lab, Point of Contact studies
variables with an ethos of exuberance.

EXHIBITION
Work Hard, the graffiti message enhancing
this Lausanne public sculpture from 1945 by
Pierre Blanc is the title of Swiss Institutes
latest exhibition and curatorial debut of
celebrated artist Valentin Carron. Carron,
who represented Switzerland at the 2013
Venice Biennale, selects an exceptional
range of seminal artworks combining his key
homegrown
influences
and
inspiring
contemporaries.

The Centre dArt Contemporain in Geneva presents the new exhibition Lavorare,
lavorare, lavorare, preferisco il rumore del mare by the young Italian artist Alfredo
Aceto who is currently in residence at the Centre. As a second instalment of a
previous exhibition, it provides an ironic and friendly response to the Swiss artist
Valentin Carrons exhibition Work Hard at the Swiss Institute in New York. Acetos
homage to Work Hard includes works by French and Italian artists and by Swiss
artist Simon Paccaud.
