Staff professional Development: Our staff
have been participating in several PD
sessions as a group and individually.
T.Madiha took PD on how to keep your
bugs away. Teacher Rosy participated in
Mathematics PD which is on going and all
staff are sharing in that PD. Al our staff
have been involved in in-house training
sessions given by Manager familiarizing
them with Ministry regulations, internal
reviews, programme plans and evaluations, ITC (use of website/blog for uploading learning stories, etc.). Also qualified
staff have been passing their knowledge to
other staff on daily bases and in special
sessions as well as sharing PD information
with staff who did not participate and
trying to put things into the best practice.
More PD is planned for next term such as
Highly effective internal review and resource making.
Management issues: We urge our parents
to stick to their children enrollment times.
We remind our families that once your
child turns three they are eligible for 20
ECE hrs free of charge from the MOE. An
-Nur tops it up by offering additional 10
hrs free of charge for this age. We urge our
parents to donate $20 weekly towards the
20 ECE free hrs to help the centre as the
ministry funding per hr is less than our
fees. We thank our parents who also donated special resources and cultural items
to the centre.
