inici su actividad hace 30 aos,
dedicndose a la fabricacin de filtros
de polister con la tcnica del llamado
filament windingo bobinado, durante
muchos aos su principal mercado de
aplicacin fue la piscina y, a medida que
los avances tcnicos y del desarrollo de
nuevos materiales lo permitieron, se pudo
ampliar a los procesos industriales de
tratamiento de aguas, tales como:
plantas depuradoras de aguas residuales,
potabilizadoras, desaladoras, etc.
Como elementos primarios o terciarios,
permiten una excelente filtracin de slidos
en suspensin en fluidos de todo tipo
o bien como reactores.
Gracias a sus propiedades anticorrosivas,
suelen ser ya un excelente sustituto al filtro
metlico en la mayora de los casos.
Especialmente, con la tcnica del bobinado,
se consigue un depsito de polister con
fibra de vidrio de una gran elasticidad y
resistencia a las altas presiones.
Es ste el producto con el que

instalaciones de ms de 60 paises, muy
especialmente en piscinas de gran tamao
de instalaciones hoteleras, parques
acuticos, acuarios, plantas desaladoras,

and fiberglass sand filters using the
filament winding technology as its core
and which continues to be till now.
The swimming pool industry has been
our main market for a long time.
However, the development of new
materials and technologies have allowed
us to develop a complete range of filters
for industrial water treatment applications,
such as waste water treatment plants,
desalination and drinking water plants, etc.
Our range of industrial filters are specially
recommended as primary or tertiary
treatment filters, as they permit an excellent
filtration of floating solids and are also
recommended as reactors. The anticorrosive
properties of the bobbin wound polyester
and fiberglass tanks would qualify them as
an excellent alternative to steel tanks in
many applications.
With the filament winding technology it
is possible to manufacture tanks of high
elasticity and high pressure resistance.

Su mtodo de fabricacin se basa en una combinacin de tcnicas (laminacin, zunchado

y bobinado) y materiales (tejidos de fibra de vidrio y resinas), cuyo resultado final es un
depsito cuyo cuerpo elstico, permite una gran resistencia a las presiones con el mnimo
espesor de pared. Ello reduce ostensiblemente el peso del filtro y permite trabajar con
dimetros y alturas considerables.
The production method consists of a combination of different processes (lamination, glue
and filament winding) and materials (fiberglass and resins), and the final result is a tank with
a flexible body that achieves the best resistance against high pressure with less wall
thickness. This production process will ultimately result in the significant reduction of the
weight of the filters and allows the production of larger size filters.

Tambin queremos destacar algunos detalles diferenciales en nuestro proceso de

fabricacin: nuestros filtros no se pintan. Al realizar el proceso de bobinado, el hilo de fibra
de vidrio de polister se tinta durante el proceso, esto junto al post-curado en horno,
proporciona un acabado de la superficie del tanque que evita efectos de sudoracin una vez
instalados.
Our bobbin wound sand filters are not painted. Instead, and during the filament winding
process, the fiberglass filaments are impregnated with paint. The use of a furnace speeds up
the process of desiccation of the filter avoiding the sweat effect on the tank surface when
the filters are on place.

En cuanto a su resistencia qumica, sta viene dada por la propia del polister en sus
distintas variedades de resinas de muy baja emisin, utilizando, en cada caso, la que ms
se adapte a las necesidades de la aplicacin, por ejemplo: Vinilster, se aconseja en
aplicaciones con agua potable y usos de ndole alimentaria.

The chemical resistance of the filter tank is achieved by the chemical resistance of the
polyester itself. We use different low emission polyester resins with anti-rust properties
that we adapt to the requirements of the customer and to the different applications.

En determinadas circunstancias, se combina con la aplicacin de un liner de PVC en el

interior del depsito, como en el caso de instalaciones donde se utilizan generadores de
ozono para la desinfeccin.
For drinking water applications, or when food grade filters are required, we use for
example vinylester resins and for ozone treatment, we use the same resin in addition
to an extra special internal PVC coating.

Todos los filtros de la lnea industrial, vienen equipados con vlvula de alivio de doble
efecto en la tapa y toda la tornillera es de acero inoxidable AISI 316.
Incorporan un manmetro-testigo para la presin del tanque y disponen de salidas
independientes para el agua y la arena. En el caso de los filtros de placa y crepinas,
stos pueden incorporar una conexin de 2 macho para conectar soplante de aire,
mejorando as la limpieza del medio filtrante.
A partir de 1800 mm todos los filtros se entregan con cncamos de elevacin para
facilitar su desplazamiento. Todos nuestros filtros referenciados en este catlogo
se fabrican segn las normativas europeas, especialmente en lo relativo a las pruebas
hidrulicas (1,5 veces la presin mxima de trabajo), las conexiones de entrada y salida
(bridas s/DIN) as como los clculos que determinan las zonas de expansin,
velocidades y caudales de filtracin.
Sobre demanda se facilita un certificado de prueba hidrulica por parte de fbrica o bien,
se facilita la presencia de entidades de certificacin externas previamente contratadas
por nuestros clientes. Cada filtro se entrega con su manual de instrucciones y certificado
de garanta.
All filters in our Industrial range are equipped with: a double effect air relief valve on the
top lid, screws made of stainless steel AISI 316, a witness pressure gauge in the tank
and two separate drains: 1 for water and 1 for sand. Filters that have nozzle plate can be
supplied with a 2 male threaded air inlet for optional air backwash to improve the media
cleaning operation. Up 1800 mm all our filters are equipped with ringbolts to make its
displacement easier. Our filters are all manufactured following the European standards,
especially regarding the pressure test requirements (where test pressure is 1.5 times
the maximum working pressure) and the inlet and the outlet flange connection
(DIN flanges), as well as the design criteria that determines the volume of expansion,
filtration and flow rates. A hydraulic test certificate can be provided by FIBERPOOL or
a third party Certification can be issued on request. Each filter is supplied with an
Instruction Manual and a Warranty Certificate.

Existen dos sistemas de colectores:

brazos en parrilla y placa con crepinas
El sistema de brazos en parrilla es el ms econmico y de fcil mantenimiento,
aconsejable en instalaciones trabajando con arena y agua limpia (por ej.: piscinas),
el lavado de la arena, slo se puede realizar con agua. El nmero de brazos y
su longitud vienen determinados por el caudal a filtrar y por el dimetro del filtro.
Este tipo de colectores tienen limitado el paso del fluido a aprox. 0,4 mm.
El sistema de placa con crepinas proporciona un mejor reparto del agua durante el proceso
de filtracin y si fuera necesario, al poder utilizar aire y agua, permite un lavado ms eficaz
de la arena. Hay una gran variedad de crepinas y de medidas de paso del agua,
permitiendo su utilizacin en procesos con aguas sucias y espesas.
Los filtros se pueden suministrar con opciones que facilitan su adaptacin a las
necesidades concretas de cada aplicacin, as se pueden fabricar con bocas laterales
ovaladas de 400x 295 mm o circulares de 400, 500 y 600 mm y mirillas de 90 y 125 mm .
Todo ello dependiendo del dimetro y presin mxima de trabajo de cada filtro.

There are two filtration systems:

Arm collectors and nozzle plate
The arm collectors system is the most economical system and of easy service and
maintenance. We recommend it in those plants that work with clean water and use
sand as filtration media, as for example a swimming pool. Filters equipped with arm
collectors can only be backwashed with water.
The quantity of laterals and its length depends on the flow and the size of the filter.
Our laterals have a slot of 0,4mm. The nozzle plate system allows a better water
distribution during the filtration process and if it is necessary, both, air and water can be
used for a more effective backwash. There are many different type of nozzles with
different slot sizes, that allow its application in processes with dirty and thick water.
Filters can be supplied with many different options for a better adaptation to the specific
needs of each application. Depending on the filter size and the pressure, filters can be
supplied with an oval 400x295 mm manhole or a 400 mm, a 500 mm or a 600 mm
side manhole and 90 or 125 mm sight glasses.

Caractersticas tcnicas de los brazos

colectores y las crepinas para las placas
Arm collector and nozzles
Los colectores en estrella o parrilla, estn formados por una serie de tubos ranurados de ABS o PVC
repartidos de forma regular en el fondo del tanque. A travs de sus ranuras de 0,4 mm de paso mximo,
se encargan de recoger el fluido previamente filtrado, consiguiendo retener el medio filtrante.
Al proceder al contralavado del medio, estos colectores se encargan de repartir la salida del fluido,
asegurando un correcto lavado. Este es un sistema econmico y eficaz, adecuado especialmente para
aguas limpias y con poca carga de slidos, como en el caso de las piscinas.

The collectors in the shape of a star or rack are made up of a range of slotted ABS or PVC
moulded pipes, regulary distributed on the vessels floor. Through its max. 0,4 mm slots, the previously
filtrated fluid will be collected, retaining the filtration Media. By the Media backwash process, this collectors
are distributing the fluid, allowing a correct wash. This is a cheap and efficient system, specially for clean water
with a low solids content, this is the case of a swimming pool, for example.
En el caso de las placas con crepinas, se consigue un proceso de filtracin ms eficaz.

Las crepinas son de polipropileno y se reparten uniformemente en la superficie de la placa para proporcionar una
distribucin ms homognea durante la filtracin y el contralavado. Las placas de crepinas nos aportan la posibilidad
de usar tambin aire en el proceso de lavado, de este modo, se consigue un mejor esponjado del medio filtrante y
aumenta la eficacia del mismo. Existe una gama muy amplia de crepinas, tanto en lo que se refiere a los materiales
de fabricacin y caractersticas de montaje, como en el nmero y tamao de sus ranuras.
Cuando es necesario cumplir con grandes exigencias de calidad en la filtracin, ste es el sistema ms utilizado, de
ah su uso generalizado en instalaciones de tratamiento de aguas: plantas desaladoras, potabilizadoras, acuarios, etc.
With the nozzle plate, the filtration process is more efficient.
The in a plate uniform mounted polypropilene nozzles are providing a more homogeneus distribution of fluid during
the filtration and backwash process. The nozzle plate allows the use of air pressure during the backwash process,
achiving a better media hollowing and increasing its efficiency. There are a wide range of nozzles: different materials,
construction characteristics, slot size and quantity. It is the most preferred system when a great filtration quality will
be required, being the widely used by water treatment installations like desalanation plants, aquariums, etc.

Los filtros de polister bobinados con fibra de vidrio, se pueden suministrar
en posicin horizontal, disponiendo as de una ms amplia rea de filtracin.
Actualmente se fabrican en los mismos dimetros que los verticales y en varias
longitudes que, en el mayor de los dimetros, puede alcanzar los 5 m.
Todos ellos van provistos de una boca de carga superior, una boca lateral y las
correspondientes purgas de agua y arena. Al igual que en los filtros verticales,
se utiliza resina de muy baja emisin, pudindose aplicar resina Vinilster para
aplicaciones alimentarias o de agua potable y recubrimiento interior de liner de PVC
en sistemas de depuracin de ozono.

Horizontal bobbin wound polyester and fiberglass filters are also available.
These filters do have a larger filtration area. We manufacture same diameters
as with the vertical filters and several lengths up to 5 meter. All of them are equipped
with a top sand charge inlet, a side manhole and a water and sand drain port.
Like with the vertical filters, we also use low emission resins and Vinylester resin is used
for drinking water applications or when food grade filters are required, and for ozone
treatment, we use the same resin in addition to an extra special internal PVC coating.

BATERAS DE VLVULAS PARA FILTROS DE POLISTER
Las bateras de vlvulas de FIBERPOOL se entregan totalmente montadas e
incluyen panel de manmetros con grifos toma-muestras y soportes (a partir de 110 mm).
Se pueden suministrar con vlvulas manuales o automticas.
Normalmente, se utiliza material de PVC, pudindose suministrar, sobre demanda,
en PP (polipropileno). Las bateras de vlvulas suelen estar compuestas de 5 vlvulas,
habitualmente de mariposa, pero que pueden ser construidas segn las necesidades
de cada instalacin, es decir, para 1, 2 o ms filtros, con ms o menos vlvulas,
para conexin en distintas posiciones, alturas, etc.
VALVE BATTERY SETS FOR POLYESTER FILTERS

FIBERPOOL valve battery sets are delivered completely assembled including a
manometer panel with testing valves and the pipe supports (pipe supports are only supplied
for filters with connections larger than 110 mm). They can be supplied with manual or
automatic PVC butterfly valves. PP (polypropylene) valves upon request.
Each valve battery consists of 5 butterfly valves, but can be supplied, according to the
needs and requirements of each installation upon request, for 1, 2 or more filters, with
more or less number of valves, connections in different positions, diefferent heights, etc.

manetas con posicionador y tornillera en acero inoxidable AISI 316.

Las bateras automticas nos permiten, mediante un cuadro de maniobras adaptado, seleccionar los horarios e intervalos
de tiempo de filtracin y del proceso de lavado del medio filtrante, en este caso, con la opcin de realizar el proceso a travs
de temporizador o bien, mediante presin diferencial con presostatos.
Para realizar las maniobras de forma automatizada, existen dos opciones habituales:
Vlvulas de mariposa con actuador elctrico o neumtico, lgicamente, existen otras posibilidades
(vlvulas hidrulicas, de membrana, etc.) que pueden ser adaptadas sobre demanda.
Automatic battery sets are controlled by an addapted electronic control box, that allows selecting how to control the time
of filtration and backwash: with the help of a timer or a differential pressure switch. Automatic valve battery sets can be
supplied with two systems: Butterfly valves with pneumatic or electric actuator. On request, there are other options:
hydraulic, diaphragm valves, etc.

En el caso de las bateras automticas equipadas con vlvulas con actuador neumtico, stas precisan de una
alimentacin de aire que, no siempre est disponible en la instalacin, en tal caso, FIBERPOOL dispone de una opcin
que denominamos Montaje completo de batera neumtica en la que se ofrece la batera completamente
montada, con un compresor para alimentar a los actuadores, cuadro de maniobras, panel de manmetros y todas las
conexiones listas para su correcto funcionamiento.
The automatic battery set with butterfly valves with pneumatic actuator, needs an air supply and, usually this is not
allways available in the installations, for this reason, FIBERPOOL offers an option named Pneumatic valve battery set
completely assembled it refers to a complete assembled battery set that already includes the air scourer, an electronic
control panel, a manometer panel and all the necessary connections ready assembled for an excellent performance.

En determinados casos, resulta de gran utilidad disponer de una

batera de vlvulas automticas que est totalmente montada
y acondicionada para funcionar.
Para tal caso, podemos ofrecer una batera de vlvulas con
actuadores neumticos conectados a un compresor
montado en la propia batera e incluso con un cuadro
electrnico de maniobra (adecuado para controlar bombas
de hasta 5,5 CV) y el correspondiente panel de manmetros.
Al incluir todas las conexiones entre los equipos, una vez
montada la batera al filtro, slo se precisar graduar la
maniobra en el cuadro y quedar lista para su funcin.

Como un complemento indispensable para los filtros, FIBERPOOL ofrece

una serie de bombas centrfugas que, por sus caractersticas constructivas y
de rendimiento, proporcionan soluciones en muchos mbitos de aplicacin.
Adicionalmente, se proponen varios modelos de prefiltros de polipropileno
y de fundicin de hierro o bronce. Tambin, en el caso de requerir un lavado y
esponjado del medio filtrante ms eficaz, se suele utilizar la inyeccin de aire a presin
(slo posible en los filtros con placa y crepinas) y para ello se dispone de una gama de
soplantes de simple o doble etapa, que garantizan un excelente rendimiento.

centrifugal pumps. Its construction characteristics and performance
provide good solutions in many different applications.
Additionaly, a range of Polypropylene, cast iron and bronze prefilters
are presented. Also, if an efficient filtration Media backwash will be required, we

Presentamos un nuevo sistema de bridas de unin desarrollado bajo el nombre de

NETVITC SYSTEM, que, adaptado a cada tipo de vlvula o accesorio de PVC o PE, facilita el
montaje y mantenimiento de los equipos. El sistema se basa en un juego de bridas con junta, con
slo 2 tornillos de sujecin.
We want to introduce the new NETVITC SYSTEM. It can be adapted to all kind of PVC or
PE valves and fittings, making the assembly and maintenance of the equipment easier.
It is an operational system based on independent flanges, reducing fastenings and weight and
oppering and easy way of mounting and dismounting.
The system consists of a set of 2 flanges and joints with only 2 screws.

AMBITO DE APLICACIN
Las presentes condiciones se aplicarn a todas las ventas de los
artculos FIBERPOOL que se hayan realizado directamente a
nuestros clientes y se encuentren amparados por las correspondientes facturas y comprobantes de pago.
ACEPTACIN DE PEDIDOS
Para evitar posibles errores de interpretacin, los pedidos debern
utilizar nuestras referencias de artculo, siempre que ello sea
posible. Los pedidos solo sern aceptados por escrito, via fax o por
correo electrnico. Los pedidos solo se entendern como definitivos
una vez se haya remitido una confirmacin de pedido, cuyos datos
se entendern como aceptados por el cliente.
PLAZOS DE ENTREGA
Los plazos de entrega confirmados se entendern como
aproximados y se referirn, siempre, a la salida de la mercancia de
nuestros almacenes. Los retrasos en la fecha de entrega, no
autoriza al comprador a exigir indemnizacin ni compensacin
alguna.
CONDICIONES DE PAGO
Las primeras compras se abonarn, siempre, al contado.
Para posteriores compras y con la cobertura correspondiente de
nuestro seguro de riesgo, se pagarn a 60 dias fecha factura,
si previamente no se hubiera pactado otra forma o plazo de pago.
El importe mnimo por factura ser de 150,- Euros.
Los pagos debern realizarse siempre por el importe total de la
factura y en ningn caso se admitirn deducciones por gastos
bancarios o de otra ndole, que no se hubieran pactado
previamente.
GARANTIA
Todos los artculos de esta tarifa, excepto las lmparas de los focos,
estn garantizados por un perodo de dos (2) aos a partir de la
fecha de entrega y cubre nicamente la sustitucin de las piezas
defectuosas una vez inspeccionadas por nuestro departamento
de control de calidad.
Esta garanta no cubre aquellas averias causadas por una
defectuosa instalacin o manipulacin, ni a las provocadas por
incendios, inundaciones, heladas, terremotos, reembalaje
inadecuado o daos causados por el transporte.
No se aceptar ninguna reclamacin de indemnizaciones
ni daos y perjuicios por causa alguna.
DEVOLUCIONES
No se aceptarn devoluciones de material pasados ocho (8) dias de
su recepcin y en caso de aceptar cualquier devolucin, el material
deber remitirse con sus embalajes originales y a portes pagados.
RESERVA DE PROPIEDAD
De acuerdo con las disposiciones legales, la transferencia de la
propiedad de las mercancas entregadas, no ser efectiva hasta el
dia del pago ntegro del importe total de dicha mercancia.
Los riesgos se transferirn al comprador en cuanto las mercancias
estn puestas a su disposicin, a la de uno de sus representantes o
a la del transportista.
JURISDICCIN
Cualquier litigio entre las partes , se someter a la jurisdiccin y
competencia exclusivas de los Juzgados y Tribunales ms cercanos a
la poblacin de nuestra razn social.

Any claim must enclose its corresponding invoice and payment
receipt.
ORDERS
Whenever it is possible and to avoid any misunderstanding, all
orders have to be made using Fiberpool catalogue reference
numbers, We will only accept orders made in writing and sent
either by fax or e-mail. The content of our order acknowledgement
is understood as accepted by the buyer.
DELIVERY TIME
The confirmed delivery date will be approximate and will always
refer to the date of dispatch from our premises. Any delay on the
delivery or dispatch of the goods will not allow the buyer to ask f
or any compensation.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Payment for the first order shall always be made in advance.
Our credit insurance company must have approved any grant of
credit in advance, and then further orders may be due at 60 days
following date of the invoice.
The minimum amount by invoice is 150,- euros.
Settlements must be effected for the total amount invoiced and we
will not accept deductions for bank fees or any other subject that
has not been previously agreed.
WARRANTY
All FIBERPOOL products shown in this catalogue are warranted for
two (2) years from delivery date.This warranty does only cover the
replacement of defective parts provided the approval of our quality
control department.
Our warranty cannot cover the responsibility for any failure or
damage neither as a result of an improper installation nor as a result
of a fire, flooding, freezing, earthquakes, improper repackaging or
damage incurred in transportation.
Fiberpool will not accept any claim for indemnity nor for loss and
damage.
RETURNING GOODS
We will not accept any return of goods after eight (8) days from the
original delivery date. In this case, goods have to be returned in
their original carton and sent freight prepaid.
PROPERTY IN GOODS
In accordance with the legal provisions, the transfer of the property
of goods shall only pass our Company to the Customer upon full
payment being made by the Customer of all sums due.
Risks will be transferred to the buyer upon the goods have been at
their disposal, or at one of their representative or to the transport
agency.
JURISDICTION
Any dispute between both parties will be submitted to the
jurisdiction and exclusive competence of the courts and tribunals
nearest to our firm.
