undergraduate club or organization
Volunteer with a local reproductive justice/rights organization
Continue commitment to inclusion and diversity through involvement with
task forces or committees focused on educational access for undocumented
students and students with disabilities
Seek out, and partake in, opportunities for certification in assessment
Teach a first-year orientation or college student success seminar
Explore and apply for masters programs in Women and Gender Studies,
with the goal of teaching one WGS as an adjunct instructor
Increase leadership and involvement by volunteering with professional
organizations and serving on conference planning committees
Expand my network of higher education professionals both locally and
nationally through campus and conference involvement
Begin masters program in Women and Gender Studies; focus studies on
masculinity and/or queer men
Teach a first-year orientation or college student success seminar
Expand knowledge of policy and law by taking on leadership roles that
provide growth in the areas of crisis management, Title IX, and retention

Research opportunities for career advancement in academic support services,

institution of employment
Audit a course focused on finance and budget allocation
Become involved with committees and/or organizations focused on

increasing access for students of color, low-income students, students with


disabilities, and immigrant students
