Iso Floor has great mechanical strength and its
stable, irrespective of what type of heavy equipment
is placed on it or if all floor panels are removed for
servicing or supplementation.
Installation of, and access to, the technical equipment is simplified by the large span between all the
pedestal supports.
Floor panels are available with the Bergvik Laminate
surface finish as a standard, which is extremely durable and easy to clean. Floor panels are available in
various sizes and color patterns.
The laminate panel is environmentally safe (<10 g/m3
formaldehyde) and fully recyclable.
Iso Floor is also available with other types of surface
finishes such as PVC/vinyl, wood parquet or rubber

TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION
The floor is built up around a prefabricated steel
framework, which is bolted together. It consists of
tubular sections measuring 80 x 40 mm (3x11/2 inch).
The structural pedestal supports made from the same
section can be adjusted +/-25 mm (+/-1 inch) from
the nominal floor height.
All structural pedestal supports, supporting sections
and assembly parts are zinc plated according to
Swedish Std. class Zn 8 or higher.

TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
Iso Floors flexibility is of great value, as it simplifies
planning for the end user during the building process.
The floor is adapted to the equipment with Auto Cad
technology. Floor installation drawings based on an
equipment floorplan are presented to the customer
for approval before production of the order (see

EXTRA REINFORCEMENT
In electrical rooms, where transformers at times are
situated, a permanent steel support frame which can
carry loads of up to 6000 kg (13,000 lbs) is offered as
an option. The load bearing beams are dimensioned for
a downward deflection of less than 0.33% of span as
a standard. When necessary, the transformer support
frames can be provided with panels and inserted ventilation air grill.

LOADING CRITERIA
The flexible and adaptable Iso Floor construction allows
for unform distributed loads UDL between 5 -50kN/m2
(103-1030 lbf/sf). Lx, Ly and Lz are the factors which
decide the distributed load.
As a rule, 7.4kN/m2 (150 lbf/sf) is used as a standard.
Always specify the loading criteria when planning a
project.
To ensure correct loading of Iso Floor, we have developed an advanced Excel calculation program.
A complete analysis can be obtained on request.

EARTH QUAKE ZONES

QuakeSafe seismic bracing frames are adapted for heavy
equipment in areas such as telecom switching or electrical
power distribtion. QuakeSafe is delivered partly preassembled. QuakeSafe has been full-scale tested and
approved for seismic zone 4 in accordance with Belcore
standards with Ericsson cabinets.

FLOOR PANEL SURFACE FINISHES

Floor panels are available with various surface finishes.
The panels consist of a high density HD particle board,
V313 moist resistant quality.
The standard panel is supplied with Bergvik Laminate
which is extremely durable, wear resistant and easy to
clean. Difficult stains, such as paint or ink, are easily
removed by using citrus cleaner on a buffing pad.
Granite Laminate

The laminate is also resistant to harsh acids and chemicals. The laminate is direct laminated, and therefore no
glue, which could work loose, is used.
Bergvik Laminate floor panels are manufactured in
different sizes as well as different color patterns depending on the application. Decor Granite which has a
non pattern design is the standard color for Iso Floor.
Laminate panel is listed by ETL, USA in accordance
with ASTM E84.
Bergvik Laminate floor panels are environmentally safe

Alternative surface finishes such as vinyl, parquet or
rubber matting are also available in size 600x600 mm
(235/8 x 235/8 ) with a bottom side of aluminium or

and maintenance are available on request. For noncombustible requirements, we offer the type 6 calcium
phosphate panel.

ACCESSORIES FOR ISO FLOOR

Lifting tool for floor panels with laminate.

Stepless brackets for attachment to leg supports provide for

quick and simple installation. For cable trays/ladders 200,
300, 400 and 600 mm (8, 12, 16 and 24 inch) are standard
widths. Approved for 150 kg (330 lbs) load. Zinc plated.

Earth connection block. Fitted with twelve 10 mm (3/8 inch)

connections. Mounting accessories included. Length 525 mm
(201/2 inch).

Portable aluminium ramp, 1100 x 2000 mm (431/3 x 783/4 inch)

for floor height max 500 mm (193/4 inch). For floors higher
than 500 mm, a permanent ramp with an anti-slip PVC surface
is offered.
