I am currently in my final year of media studies at Ravensbourne who is

currently in the process of filming a level three project which requires me
to ask your permission to film in your premises.
The crew will be kept small in order to allow the filming of the piece to be
completed as soon as possible. We aim to be in and out within the hour
and preferably we would like to film at around 3 Oclock on Monday the
19th of January 2015 to avoid the rush of customers. Any footage obtained
you will be permitted to see and will not be used for anything other than
educational purposes.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
To contact me please email to skoleva@ravensbourne.info or call me on
my day phone 07794682845.
Or if you would like to speak with our Educator Miss A Svrdlin, feel free to
contact her by email asvrdlin@ravensbourne.info or phoning the
Ravensbourne School on (020 8460 0083 and following the extension

Attached to this document you can find an outline of the brief and music
video, the crew and equipment used on the day. As well as a shot list of
the full music video. The highlighted scenes on the shot list directly relate
to your premises.
Thank You,
Stefani Koleva

The Brief
You work for a top music producing company and have been asked to conduct
audience research into a music video of any genre and then produce a music
video to fit in with the conducted research. You must seek out permission from a
professional location and evidence this. You must understand and carry out all
research and production needed to successfully produce the music video.
Audience Research
From our audience research we learnt several things such as;

The majority of our responders preferred to have a music video which has
a love story which the audience can follow.
The target audience are aged between 16 and 21.
After conducting a questionnaire, results concluded that a bowling alley
was the most favoured location for a date by our responders and a dinner
date located in a restaurant was the least.
The music genre that has been favoured by the majority of the responders
was House followed closely by Pop.

The Project
Our project follows Todorovs arch. The music video follows a young female
getting ready to go out on a date with a male suitor. The date is based at a
bowling alley where they are filmed enjoying themselves and having fun. The
song we have chosen for this is Real Love by Jess Glynne, it directly relates to
first love and falling in love which is what our music video is all about.
