Rousseffwhichestablishesthattelecomcompaniescannot

Meanwhile,neighbouringChilewasthefirstcountrytopass
netneutralitylegislation,backin2010.

Whyshouldyoucare?
Dependingonwhichwaythedecisiongoes,itcouldeither
hurtyourwalletoryourwatchinghabits.
Ifnetneutralityisupheld,ISPscoulddecidetopassonthe
costofdeliveringbandwidthhungryupthecostofservicesto
payfordeliveringfasterbandwidthandraisethemonthlyfee
theychargefornetaccess.
Usersmaygetabillthatreflectstheirusage,withthoseusing
videoondemandservicesbeingchargedmore.
If,ontheotherhand,ISPsgettheirwayandareabletostart
chargingfeesforprioritisedaccesstocontentthenusersmay
findthatthosewebsitesnotinthefastlaneareslowtoload.
