Word processing software on your computer with the capability of reading .rtf documents. Almost all word processors can read this format, including simple tex t editors. 2. Your classroom observation and record keeping documents.. It can be tempting to blaze through the narratives without checking for accuracy. Be certain to read through them carefully and ensure they truly represent the individual child! Setting Up 1. Open folder Customizable templates 2. Open a template in your word processor. 3. Save it on your hard drive with a new name. 4. Delete the Terms of Use section at the top of the template. 5. Customize your letterhead by adding the name of your school and the relevant dates and teacher names. Add an image/logo if you desire. Consult your word processor user s manual if you need instructions on how to add an image. 6. Once you have customized your letterhead, copy and paste it in all the other templates over the generic letterhead that is provided. 7. You may want to save these files as Read Only file or as templates. Consult y our word processor user s manual for instructions. 8.
