I wanted to personally reach out to you with some important information regarding your Sage DacEasy
product. Sage has long focused on providing solutions that help its small business customers thrive, and
invests in those solutions in which Sage believes it can deliver the best value. In an eort to better focus
Sages investment and development resources, a decision has been made to discontinue Sage DacEasy.

Discontinuing a long-standing product, such as Sage DacEasy, is no simple decision. By focusing our
investment on Sage 50 Accounting, a product with a comparable feature set that you nd in Sage
DacEasy, plus much more, our Sage DacEasy customers will benet by having a product that oers better
quality and usability and meets ongoing and future customer needs, such as mobility. We have also
worked to design a migration path for our Sage DacEasy customers that will minimize the impact of this
strategic decision and gives our customers the support resources they need to make this transition as
easy on them as possible.

What does it mean for me and what are my options?

The 2014 tax service is the last tax service that will be available. After December 2014, tax updates will
only be available to customers on Sage Business Care and as of December 1, 2015 there will be no more
product updates. Support for Sage DacEasy will end on September 1, 2016. We wanted to alert you now
so that you can prepare for this transition in the coming months.

We recommend that you consider migrating as soon as possible. Not only will you be able to take
advantage of the features and benets of Sage 50 Accounting, but you can do so at a deeper discount
than you will nd at a later date. It is important for you to know that we will work to provide you with
the support resources and options you need to make this migration as easy as possible.
