Creative Cultivation & Production
jay@jaysonalbright.com
For close to 20 years now, Creative Cultivation and Production has been both
my passion and my specialty. Now, as a freelancer, I am more flexible than ever,
able to tailor my particular brand of imagination and experience to you and your
project.

Dubbed the “Jay Touch” by frequent collaborator Jim Cloney of Falcon MultiMe-
dia, my work is based largely on my deep appreciation for (and ongoing practice
of) improvisation and free-form association. I excel at cultivating strong, memo-
rable ideas quickly, followed by intense polishing and fine-tuning, whereupon I
methodically build the initial idea into a focused, fully-realized cocept.

Cultivating the concept is just the beginning, though. As an award-winning

producer, writer, director, performer, and illustrator/animator who has worked in
Television, Film, Theater, Radio, and Print, I have the talent, skills, and experi-
ence to breath life into that (or any other) concept. No project is too big or small
for my detail-oriented approach to creative production. If the devil is in the
details, then I am your creative Beelzebub!

Understandably, many projects I work on are bigger in scope and require addi-
tional input. Having worked in Promotions, Marketing, Advertising, PR, Sales,
and Production - in capacities anywhere from programming to Creative Services
Director - communication between various talents, departments, and/or agencies
when overseeing a project is effortless.

Plus, I work tirelessly to make the “getting it done” FUN for all involved!

So the question is... how can the “Jay Touch” benefit your next project?

Left Brain-Write Brain owner/operator Kelly Wingard provides writing and
editing services in a wide range of fields. As a 26-year veteran tax preparer and
an author/editor of tax training materials, Kelly is as comfortable in the “left
brain” world of academic and technical writing as in the “right brain” world
of authoring children’s fiction. It is this combination of logical and analytical
skills with creativity and an insatiable curiosity that sets Kelly apart from her
competition.

An accomplished author of numerous magazine features, web columns, SEO

articles, continuing professional education materials, newsletters, legal briefs,
humorous essays, and more, Kelly is up to the challenge of any assignment. She
has penned articles on travel, business, and legislation, collaborated on an award-
winning marketing campaign, and created websites from scratch.

Drawing heavily on her background as a legislative analyst with the Illinois

Senate Revenue Committee and her positions as assistant editor of the University
of Illinois Tax School workbook and Joint Committee Quality Review Chair of
the national Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, Kelly can pare down complex subjects
into easy-to-understand language – and make the material entertaining to boot.

When there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish her “to-do” list,
Kelly leans on a proven stable of writers to assist her clients with their written
communications. Left Brain-Write Brain offers a full-range of writing and
editing services for business clients. From drafting collection letters to conducting
social media campaigns, let Left Brain-Write Brain take the stress out of writing

Millikin University’s Mission: To Deliver on the Promise of Education
At Millikin, we prepare students for
• Professional Success;
• Democratic citizenship in a global environment;
• A personal life of meaning and value.
The underpinning of our mission is the offering of an educational experience that integrates the
traditional liberal arts functions and the practical arts of the professions. Our students discover
and pursue their full potential personally and professionally, to do well and to do good. Their dis-
covery is theory and practice driven, guided by faculty and staff, within an inclusive and broadly
accessible learning community.

Alumni & Development Mission Statement

To interpret Millikin University to the widest possible audience of alumni, parents and
friends for the purpose of increasing understanding and engagement, and, therefore,
financial support.

In order to accomplish this mission, we must do the following with regard to our
alumni:

1. Communicate effectively with alumni by the method most meaningful to them;

2. Provide programming and services for them both on the campus and throughout the
U.S. that reconnect them to the University;

3. Engage them as volunteers in the life of the University in mutually beneficial ways;

4. Increase both the dollars given and percentage of those who give.

The alumni and development communication team produces more than 100 print and online pub-
lications per year, including four issues of Millikin Quarterly magazine annually. Other projects
include solicitation mailings, brochures, event programs and invitations, e-masses and the alumni
and friends portion of the Millikin website.

We produce 10,000 Coupon Books monthly, that are distributed, at no cost, to
Middle and Upper-Middle Income homes in the Decatur and Champaign areas.
This professional-looking book, slightly larger than a standard business envelope,
is intended to help the small and mid-size business owner have a voice in their
marketing, by increasing new customers. It also enables the consumer to save
money.

With no more than 24 interior pages per book, plus a back cover, your business
will be part of an exclusive number of messages. Each page is perforated, so
if the consumer chooses to take your offer, it is esay to remove and put in their
purse, in their car, or leave on their refrigerator.

Additionally, every month, the Super-Savings Book DONATES one page per
book to a Not-for-Profit Organization. If you are a part of an NPO, your message
will be seen by 10,000 Middle and Upper-Middle Income Households.
