Managed a small team of Technical Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts in integrating a testing process into their
agile development process. Implemented quality assurance processes and procedures into the organization which had few formal
processes. Restructured the implementation of Rally software to facilitate their scrum methodology enabling the organization to
track user story burndown and resource utilization. Implemented test automation tools and framework and a test management
system allowing the organization to produce test status and test coverage analysis reports for new client implementations.

Managed a team of Business Analysts and Software Test Engineers, fourteen of which were offshore, to ensure application
alignment with product direction and overall product quality. Scrum Master for automation projects. Automated 60% of
functional tests for major release resulting in increased test coverage and reduced test cycle time by 30%. Managed test lab
consisting of 200+ servers (Solaris, Windows, and Linux). Implemented disk imaging tools and procedures to reduce hardware
costs and increase lab utilization. Developed requirements management system, IBM/Rational Focal Point, and adapted it to
work with our SunGards agile development process. Successfully implemented and maintained performance testing process and
environment running as many as 10,000 virtual users over multiple software releases and OSs.

Responsible for software test engineering and a staff of nineteen software test engineers. Defined and implemented software
development methodologies supporting all levels of web based software development and testing. Implemented a requirements
management system and the tools required to support an iterative development process based on the RUP model. Defined and
implemented needed tools required to support testing of systems under Unix, Linux, HPUX, and Windows platforms.
Implemented a table-driven test automation system that enabled the test and department to increase automated testing from under
10% to over 70% of the regression test suite.

Responsible for software test engineering with a staff of thirteen software test engineers. Increased test case coverage, established
release criteria and AQLs, and increased quality of released products. Reduced defects reported during first six months of release
by more than 90% during my first year. Analyzed defect tracking process and designed a state based defect tracking system using
Rational Softwares ClearQuest. Improved defect resolution rate of critical and high severity defects from 10 days to 3 days.
Implemented requirements management and test management systems that improved the test coverage by over 100% in 6 months.
Implemented maintainable automated testing tools and procedures, which improved the efficiency and effectiveness of regression
testing activities resulting in the ability to move maintenance and regression testing to an off-shore team of 12 test analysts.

Began work as a consultant for ADP in Salt Lake City, managing the year 2000 testing project. Managed a team of 12 full time
consultants, from 3 different consulting firms, in the testing of software modified to meet ADPs Y2k standards, which included
managing multiple projects and environments. Authored the companys Y2k Test Strategy; a white paper given to ADP
customers and other divisions describing the basic approach to the Y2k validation process.
In October 1998, was hired by ADP as the manager of software quality assurance in the Software Development R&D
organization, which was being staffed in Salt Lake City.

Managing Consultant, Software Quality Management
Began employment with Interim Technology January 1997, as a consultant in the Software Quality Management (SQM) practice.
March 1997, promoted to a Senior Consultant assigned to First Security Bank, an anchor account, and responsible for
implementing a testing methodology into their development life cycle. June of 1997, promoted to Managing Consultant,
responsible for developing the Software Quality Management (SQM) practice within the Salt Lake City branch. Responsibilities
included career development and training for the 18 SQM consultants within the practice, coordination of qualified staff and
client requirements for five major accounts, marketing and sales to new and existing accounts, and recruiting and qualifying
consultant candidates. Increased the revenue of the SQM practice by over $2.3 million and maintained the highest profit margins
within the Salt Lake Branch at 56%.
Site Manager at First Security Bank. Responsibilities included the development of the software development life cycle and
development and control of the test environment for the Year 2000 compliance projects. Responsible for the testing process of the
banks Year 2000 project, including project management and estimation for 82 application software maintenance projects,
managing a staff of 8 systems software analysts and twenty software test engineers, and a budget exceeding $3.5 million.
