Fixture Type:
The venerable 360Q is a compact, rugged ellipsoidal
spotlight which produces a high intensity sharp or
soft-edged beam. This lightweight luminaire is
outfitted with an efficient, specially facetted
reflector specifically designed for the new
generation of 575 watt tungsten halogen lamps.
The reflector has over 700 mirror polished
surfaces which optimize the optical system for
greater light output and a sharper, more controlled
focus. Four adjustable integral stainless steel
framing shutters provide beam shaping ability and
the pattern slot and holder provide the ability to
project visual images. While primarily designed for
theatre and studio applications, the 360Q Series is
also useful in displays, show windows, churches,
museums and nightclubs where precision controlled
accenting is desirable.

Source Four Ellipsoidal Spotlight

The Source Four high performance ellipsoidal spotlight is the first major advance
in ellipsoidal spotlight technology in
decades. It is the culmination of an exciting design collaboration between ETC and
Entertec, Inc.
Source Four represents a complete rethinking of the ellipsoidal spotlight, starting
with the lamp itself. Source Four was
developed around Entertecs HPL compact
filament lamp. The HPL produces more
light using less electricity by utilizing its
smaller filament for more efficient light
collection.
With the HPL lamp as the starting point, a
faceted, molded glass reflector was computer designed to give the Source Four
optimum light collection. A dichroic coating
is applied to the reflector to increase
reflectivity and remove up to 90 percent of
the heat from the beam. The gate stays
cool, extending shutter and gobo life.
Unique lenses are used in Source Fours
sophisticated optical system to provide a
very even, clean, white field as well as
precise shutter cuts and pattern projection.
Source Four is smaller and lighter than
conventional ellipsoidals. Its output equals
or exceeds standard 1kW spotlights. In
addition, the Source Four offers numerous
operating features. The rotating barrel is
standard, as are interchangeable lens
tubes for 5, 10, 19, 26, 36, and 50 degree
beam spreads. The lamp housing offers
easy, tool free lamp adjustment and maintains alignment during relamping.

The photometric data in this document was prepared using a

calibrated Panasonic GPMF552 linear CCD camera and a Digital
Vision digitizer. All fixtures were adjusted for Cosine Distribution
(flat field) and were tested with a calibrated HPL 575/115V lamp
(16,500 lumens) at rated voltage.
For illumination with any lamp, multiply the candlepower of a beam

spread by the multiplying factor (mf) shown for that lamp.
To determine illumination in footcandles or lux at any throw

distance, divide candlepower by distance squared.

A lightweight, short-throw, all-purpose lighting device, the 6 fresnel produces a softedged beam varying in diameter from 4.2 feet to 21 feet at a throw distance of 15 feet.
The 65Q and 165Q are designed for
operation with long-life, high-intensity tungsten-halogen lamps. The luminaire is used in
theatre for acting area lighting where beam
shaping is not required, or in television studios
for key and back lighting. Other uses include
nightclubs, museums and show windows where
soft-edged controlled lighting is required.

Fixture Type:
A lightweight, very short throw, all purpose lighting device; the 100
produces a soft edged beam which varies in diameter from 4.2 feet to
10.4 feet at a throw distance of 10 feet. The 100 is designed
for incandescent lamps as well as tungsten halogen lamps. The
unit is used in theater for specials or in television and photographic
studios for table top applications. Other uses include nightclubs, museums and show windows where soft edged controlled lighting is required.

Fixture Type:
Altman PARs are low-cost, highly flexible luminaires designed for diverse applications. Intensities and beam spread
are a function of the installed light source, so any one unit can
serve multiple purposes simply by changing the lamp type.
The smaller size of the PAR56 reduces installation hassles, while the
PAR64s optional PAR56/64 adapter ring gives the fixture great versatility. With oval
beams and lamp ranges from 300 to 500 watts for the PAR56 and 300 to 1000 watts
for the PAR64, these lights are ideal for use in concerts, nightclubs, television and film
remotes and architectural applications where maximum flexibility is desired in a small,
compact package.
The PAR64-AL is a PAR64 unit constructed from .050-gauge rolled aircraft aluminum to minimize weight without sacrificing durability.

The Zip Strip is a U.L. listed multi-lamp striplight using a

wide range of 12 volt MR-16 tungsten halogen lamps.
This luminaire is manufactured of die-cast, extruded and sheet aluminum in
four standard lengths. These lengths are related to the number of color washes
desired. Narrow spot, medium and wide flood lamps are efficiently incorporated into the Zip
Strip without trapping appreciable light from these lamps. Since 10 lamps operate in series for each
color circuit, lamp failure is noted by neon indicator lamps. Spring loaded lamp holders with push-on sockets
provide secure positioning of the lamps to hold them in place while touring. This narrow luminaire allows it to be
used on closely spaced battens or in tight spaces where a general wash of light from the top, side or bottom is desired.
