Ingredients:

1 ripen Mango(any variety would do)


2-3 tbsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder(optional)
Ice cubes ,to serve
Method:

Wash and peel the skin of mangoes and cut into pieces.

In a blender add chopped mangoes, sugar and cardamom powder and


blend to a fine puree.

Add chilled water (approx 1 cup) and blend again to a smooth


consistency. Now check the sweetness and add more sugar or water if
needed. You can make it thin or thick according to your preference, I
prefer to make it slightly thick.

Serve it in a glass with ice cubes on top.

Lavar y pelar la piel de mango y cortar en trozos.
En una licuadora agregar picada mangos, azcar y cardamomo en polvo y
mezcla a un pur fino.
Aadir agua fra (aproximadamente 1 taza) y mezcla de nuevo hasta obtener
una consistencia suave. Ahora compruebe la dulzura y aadir ms azcar o
agua si es necesario. Puede que sea delgado o grueso segn sus preferencias,
prefiero que sea un poco espeso.
Servir en un vaso con cubitos de hielo en la parte superior.

your mango juice Im going to work on another trinirecipe just for you all.

In Jamaica and Trinidad, tamarind balls are made with the fruits sticky flesh rolled
with brown sugar into round sweet and sour balls. You can also make spicy versions
that have hot pepper mixed in. Basically tamarind balls are made with the flesh of
the tamarind mixed with sugar and water. Or you can add a boost of flavour with
Jamaican rum, as youll see me do in my video below. Clearly theyre for adults only
though the alcohol does dissipate leaving behind the lovely rum flavour.
Start by mixing two parts brown sugar with 1 part tamarind flesh, after that youll
really need to adjust the amount of sugar to your liking. Then add liquid (water or
rum) a little at a time until everything holds together. If you use too much liquid
then just add more sugar. I like to make large tamarind balls but you can make them
any size you like. I roll them in the sugar and then again in my palms, and then roll
them in the sugar again to finish them off beautiful!
You can store tamarind balls in a sealed container for a few weeks. The best ones
are moist and tangy. Just be careful not to eat too many at one time or youll get a
sick tummy. I know from experience. Watch my video lesson below for how to make

TAMBRAN (TAMARIND) BALLS

1 1/2 lb sugar, approximately


1 lb Tamarind pulp, cleaned
3 tbsp flour (optional)
pepper to taste
salt to taste
Place about 1 lb of the cleaned tamarind pulp in a large bowl.
Add salt and pepper to taste
and about three tablespoons of sugar.
Knead in the ingredients while separating the seeds.
Sprinkle a little water over the tamarind ( very little ) to moisten it a bit.
According to how sour the tamarind is, more sugar may have to be used.
Let taste be your guide.
Take up enough tamarind and roll between your hands
to make a ball about 2 inches in diameter.
In a separate plate or bowl pour some sugar and roll the tamarind ball in it.
Store in the refrigerator or in a cool area.
