LANGUAGE: The United States does not possess an official language to federal
level; nevertheless, the predominant language is the English.
THE POLITICAL DIVISION OF THE UNITED STATES CONSIST IN: 50 states and a
federal district. In turn these 50 states divide in counties (Louisiana divides in
parishes and Alaska in municipalities). The counties subdivide in municipalities,
or in towns.

Productions : U.S.A is the first world producer of meat, milk, butters and eggs.
Also it occupies the first place in the production of copper, coal, uranium,
molybdenum, phosphates, magnesium, silver, gold, platinum, aluminium
,bauxita, estao, cobalto, cromo, nquel, titanio and vanadio.
Trade: It imports agricultural Products and industrial supplies. It exports
supplies industriales: transistores, planes, vehicles of engine, computers
(equipments and pieces), cars and medicines.
The country:
U.S.A is a great territorial mass located in the temperate region; it borders in
the northern part with Canada, in the southern part with Mexico, in the eastern
part with the Atlantic Ocean and in the western part with the Pacific Ocean.
Alaska: is a state of the United States of America, placed in the extreme
northwest of the American continent, with the capital in Juneau. Alaska is
surrounded by the Arctic and Pacific Oceans, shares border with Canada, and is
separated from Russia by Bering's strait. The predominant language is English.

Hawaii: is a state of the United States. His territory is formed by an archipelago.


The islands are of volcanic origin. The most ancient islands possess extinct
volcanoes, the most new, volcanoes still in activity. In Hawi, there are two
official languages: the English and the Hawaiian. Nevertheless, the majority of
the Hawaiian population does not speak the latter.
SIGN LANGUAGE (PIDGIN)
BLACK AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE: Up to the 19th century the population of
Afro-American origin was using a species of Creole language. But with the
disappearance of the slavery and the consequent education of the population
in English, it has been joining to the general norm of the spoken language,
though in the not educated circles still there exist marked lexical and even
syntactic differences. Good example of it is the form of the past that uses the
participle been as auxiliary before the participle of the verb that conjugates:
she been said that (`ha dicho que'). Of any form this group of population is
responsible for the introduction of the whole vocabulary, especially urban, in
the national norm, the universal example can be the word O.K., that
apparently has an African origin, as well as many specific terms of the lexicon
of jazz.
HAWAII PIDGIN SIGN LANGUAGE: During the 19th century the Hawaiian suffered
a strong decrease of his population because of the diseases newly introduced
by immigrants; apart from the death of his speakers, in 1885 there was
promulgated a norm of education that was establishing that the instruction
would give only in English. The island Ni Ihau his inhabitants have been kept
isolated and use almost exclusively his local version of Hawaiian. Some of them
think that the principal reason is the abandon on the part of his native
speakers, say that many of them stimulated in his children the learning of the
English and even they stopped speaking in Hawaiian in order that the children
were not learning it. Meanwhile, others insist that it owed to facts foreign to the
speakers, because the government made the language illegal in the schools it
was a factor that discouraged his use.
THE GOVERNMENT SYSTEM:
The U.S. government is a representative democracy with two legislative bodies.
These bodies are the Senate and House of Representatives. The Senate consist
of 100 seats with two representatives from each of the 50 states. The House of
Representatives consist of 435 seats and are elected by the people from the 50
states. The executive branch consists of the President who is also the head of
government and chief of state. The U.S. also has a judicial branch of
government that is made up of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, U.S
District Courts and State Courts. The election of the President and the Vice
President of the U.S. is an indirect vote in which people choose two electors

for each state. Then the electors select the president and the vice president of
the country. In order to win the election, the president should obtain 270 votes.
Presidential elections occur every four years. Generally, this takes place the
Tuesday between November 2 and 8, coinciding with the general election of
various other federal, states and local races. The most recent was the 2012
election, held on November 6 in which Barack Obama was elected president
again and he obtained 274 votes.
English language: it is an official language in countries such as Canada,
Ireland, New Zealand and the Philippines. But it does not have official status in
Australia and U.S. although English is spoken by the vast majority of the
population, it is an official language used in government, institutions. Only in
28 states of America have adopted English as an official language including
Hawaii where English and Hawaiian are both official.
New American language , dialects , and creoles
African American Vernacular English also known as ebonics, is a variety of
English spoken by many African Americans in both rural and urban areas. It is
a mixture between creoles (Gullah) and the English colonist . Not all african
americans speak African American Vernacular English. There is considerable
debate among non linguistics as to whether the word dialect is appropriate
to describe it. However, there is general agreement among linguistics and
many African Americans that African American Vernacular English
