1.

APPLICATION FEE
A one-time non-refundable Application Fee i s p a i d when the Application Form is
submitted. This is to cover administrative and admission testing cost.

2.

REGISTRATION FEE
A one-time non-refundable Registration Fee as shown in the schedule above is
payable when an offer is accepted. Payment of this fee guarantees a place for the child.

3.

ENGLISH AS ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE (EAL) FEE

All students are tested for English proficiency. F o r s t u d e n t s requiring s p e c i f i c
EAL instruction, an additional EAL fee is payable as shown in the schedule. The annual
EAL fee is paid in full. EAL students are assessed each term and upon graduation from
EAL, a portion of EAL fee will be refunded. This refund is pro-rated based on the number
of remaining days in the school year.
For withdrawal, the Withdrawal Refund under clause 9 shall apply.

4.

SIBLING DISCOUNT
The school offers a 10% discount on the tuition fees to the younger siblings
studying concurrently in the school. The discount for the younger siblings is also
applicable to tuition fees paid by installments.

5.

TUITION FEE
All tuition fees are payable in full before 19th August 2011. If the installment option
has been chosen, each installment must be paid before the start of each term. It is the
responsibility of parents to ensure that all fees are paid on time.

Notes (*) : If tuition fees are paid by installments, the total amount is 15% higher than the
Annual Tuition Fee paid in full at the beginning of the school year.
IB SCHOLARSHIPS
RISS is pleased to confirm the continuation of its scholarship program. Scholarships
equivalent to 50% of annual fees are offered to all students with a minimum of 5 grade
As or A* at IGCSE and 20% scholarships for students with a minimum of 5 grade Cs or
higher. For new applicants who have not studied IGCSE, scholarships may be awarded
based on the results of the entrance examination.
6.

BUS SERVICE FEE

The bus service fee is as shown below:
Tao Dan Route USD 1,070 / year; Phu My Hung Route USD 820 / year
The bus fee stated above excludes 10% of Value Added Tax (VAT).

7.

LATE ENROLMENT

The school accepts late enrolment after the start of academic year depending on
seat availability. Those who enroll after the start of the academic year up to 13 March
2012 will pay tuition fees strictly on a pro-rated basis. Students enroll after 13 March
2012 are required to pay a one-off tuition fee on installment fee basis.
For late enrolment to EAL classes, the EAL fee will also be pro-rated based on the
annual fee, effective from admission date to the end of school year. This method
is also applied to bus fee.

8.

WITHDRAWAL REFUND
If the school receives a Withdrawal Application Form at least 40 working days before
the date of withdrawal, the following withdrawal refund shall apply. The schools receipt
date stamp on the Withdrawal Application Form shall determine t h e
e n t i t l e m e n t t o a withdrawal refund. The school will not be responsible for
any case when a Withdrawal Application Form is not officially submitted. Withdrawal
refund is applicable only to Annual Tuition Fees that were paid on time i.e. paid on or
before the due date.
The withdrawal refund schedule detailed below is also applicable to EAL fee &
Bus service fee.

PAYMENT OF FEES
Parents are responsible to pay all applicable fees before a pupil is allowed to
attend classes. This responsibility can not be delegated to the employer.

If payment is not made within two weeks of the due dates, the school shall add a
10% penalty to the outstanding payment & a new debit note will be issued. In
cases where parent registered to pay annual tuition fees this will be automatically
changed to Term Tuition Fee and the 10% penalty added.
After the new debit note has been issued, if the School has still not received
payment by the r e v i s e d due date then the School shall exercise its right to
exclude the Pupil from class until such fees have been paid.
All fees are payable in USD. If you wish to pay in Vietnamese Dong, please use
the applicable Bank Selling rate when making payment.
Please ensure the bank transfer payment make reference to your child(ren)s name
& debit note numbers. It is also your responsibility to pay all bank charge. Payment
