: Why are we here?

: You have to help my master! Go into the cave of wonder and bring
the lamp to him!

: Cave of Wonder? But how did you find it?
Jafar
: (doing magic) (the cave appeared) Now go in!
Slave
: I dont want to! What if I cant get out?
Jafar
: What are you talking about? Go!
Slave
: I dont want to help you, evil man! (run away)
Miago
: I can't believe it. I just don't believe it. We're never gonna get a
hold of that stupid lamp! Just forget it. Look at this. Look at this. I'm
so ticked off that I'm molting!
3. SCENE 3 (Aladdins House)
Narrator
: Meanwhile, there lived a young poor boy with his poor mother in a
poor little house. People had known him as Aladdin. His mother had
to work hard because his father was already dead.
Aladdins mom
: Aladdin! Where are you? Come here for awhile. Can you go to
the market and buy some fish for dinner?
Aladdin
: Are we going to eat fish again, mother?
Aladdins mom
: You know we dont have enough money Fish is all I can
afford, Aladdin.
Aladdin
: I am sorry mother
Aladdins mom
: Its not your fault.
Aladdin
: But I promise you, that one day I will give you everything you
deserve.
Aladdins mom
: I know. Wellnow go, but take this with you (gives a ring).
When things get hard, you can always come back home with this.
Aladdin
: But how?
Aladdins mom
: You will find out. Now, go before its getting too late.
4. SCENE 4 (Market)
(Several years later)

: Apples! Apples! Cheap and tasty apples!
Aladdin
: Im really hungry. I will just take one apple(takes one apple
from the table)
Merchant
: Hey! What are you doing? (shouts) Thief! Thief!
(Aladdin runs away)
Merchant
: Come back! Come back you, thief! (chases Aladdin)

5. SCENE 5 (Castle)
Narrator
: Meanwhile, in a castle not too far away, there lived a mighty Sultan
with his daughter, Princess Jasmine.They were searching for a prince
for Jasmine to marry.
Sultan
: Jasmine! What were you doing to that prince? Youre supposed to
choose one of them, not scaring them away with your tiger pet!
Jasmine
: If he cant handle a tiger, how could he handle me?
Sultan
: Jasmine, youve got to stop rejecting every single prince that came!
The law says you...
BOTH
: ...must be married to a prince.
Sultan
: By your next birthday.
Jasmine
: Father, I hate being forced into this. If I do marry, I want it to
be for love.
Sultan
: Jasmine, it's not only this law. I'm not going to be around forever,
and I just want to make sure you're taken care of.
Jasmine
: Try to understand, Father. I've never done a thing on my own.
Sultan
: But Jasmine, you're a princess.
Jasmine
: Then maybe I don't want to be a princess.
Sultan
: Aaah, whatever Jasmine! (walks away)
6. SCENE 6 (Castle)

to see the world outside the palaces walls.

: Im pretty sure, Akilah.
: But, where are you going, Princess?
: I dont know. I just have to go and have my freedom.
: Take care, Princess. And take this with you, so no one will recognize
you as a princess.

7. SCENE 7 (Market)

: Im so hungry(takes apple and eats)
Merchant
: Hey! Youve got to pay for it. No one steals from my cart!
Jasmine
: Pay? But I dont have any money.
Merchant
: Thief! You know what the penalty is for stealing? Dont joke around!
(takes her hand and pins it down, intending to chop it off)
Jasmine
: No! Please dont!
Merchant
: I need to teach you a lesson for being a thief!
(The sword drops, but his hand is stopped by Aladdins.)
Aladdin
: Oh, thank you sir! Im so glad youve found her. Ive been
looking all over for you.
Merchant
: You know her?
Aladdin
: Yes, shes my sister. Shes a littleyou know, crazy.
Merchant
: Oh I see. But you still need to pay for that apple!
Aladdin
: Sure, but first (glances at Jasmine) run!
(after running for awhile)
Jasmine
: Wow! Thank you for stopping that man.
Aladdin
: Uh, forget it. So this is your first time in the marketplace,
huh?
Jasmine
: Yeah. Obvious, isnt it?
Aladdin
: Well, kind of. Anyway, this is where I live. Not much, but the
view is amazing right? The palace looks wonderful. I wonder what it
would like to live there, to have servants and all.

dont we, street rat?
: Oh poor you, street rat. Its the dungeon for you!
: Let go of him!
: Who are you to give order to us, dirty girl?
: Yeah, who are you? How dare you ordered us, were the
people from the palace!
: (pull off her hood) Im the princess. Now, let go of him!
: (startled) P-princess?! Arent you the princess? But the
princess is supposed to be in the palace right? Im so confused!
Should we let go of him, then?
: No, you stupid! (hits Guard 2) Well, I would let him go,
princess, but my orders come from Jafar. Youll have to take it up with
him. (walks away)
: Were really sorry, Princess. Now bye!
: No! Ugh that Jafar is going to see what Im capable of.

8. SCENE 8 (Dungeon)
Aladdin
: Im so stupid. Now how can I get out from this dungeon?
Jafar
: (disguises as an old man) Maybe together, we can be something
more.
Aladdin
: Who are you?
Jafar
: Just an old man in an old dungeon. Listen, young boy. Theres this
cave called Cave of Wonder. It contains lots of treasure, more than
you can imagine. Together, we can go in there and fix our lives.
Aladdin
: No, Im not going.
Jafar
: You can impress anyone. Even your princess.
Aladdin
: (thinks hard) So how can I help you?
Jafar
: (grins) Bring me this lamp. The rest of treasure is yours, but that
lamp is mine.
9. SCENE 9 (Little Girls Room)
Little Girl
: Isnt that the magic cave where people can never get out once they
get in?
Mom
: Yes, honey.
Little Girl
: Then why Aladdin still wanted to go there? Didnt he know it?
Mom
: He knew. But he needed to impress the princess, remember?
Little Girl
: AhI see. Go on, mom! Im so curious~

SCENE 10 (Desert)
Miago
: (whispering) Finally, master! Youll soon be a king and we will get rid
off that miserable Sultan and his Jasmine!
Jafar
: (whispering) Not yet, Miago. We need to make sure Aladdin will
bring us that lamp.
Miago
: (whispering) Sure he will. I can totally see hes in love with that
Jasmine. Hell do anything for her!
Jafar
: So, Aladdin, what are you waiting for? Go in!
Miago
: Touch nothing but the lamp! Or you will get nothing at all. Right,
master?

(Aladdin walks in)

SCENE 11 (Cave of Wonder)
Narrator
: The cave was really full of treasure. Aladdin even found a magic
carpet, so he took it with him. After awhile, he found the magic lamp.
Right after he took it, he saw a beautiful, huge diamond. He did
remember Miagos warn, but the diamond was so attempting so he
touched it. Right after he did that, the cave started to collapse and
soon he was trapped.
Aladdin
: Oh greatwhat am I supposed to do now?
Narrator
: Unconsciously, Aladdin started to rub the lamp. Suddenly, there was
a genie appeared from it.
Genie
: Helloooo! Aaah! Oh! Ten-thousand years will give you such a crick in
the neck! It feels so good to finally be outta here! Nice to be back,
everyone. Now whats your name?
Aladdin
: (startled) Al-Aladdin
Genie
: Aladdin! Well hello, Aladdin. Can I call you Al? Or maybe just Din? Or
how about Laddi? Whatever. Youre a lot smaller than my last master.
Either that or Im getting bigger. How do you think? Do I look different
to you?
Aladdin
: Wait, Imyour master?
Genie
: Yes! I can grant you three wishes. I will fulfill them!
Aladdin
: Whoa! I can wish for anything?
Genie
: Sure, BUT! You can never duplicate the wishes. And there are some
rules! First, I cant kill anybody, so dont ask. Rule number two, I cant
make anyone fall in love with anyone else. No no no. Rule number
three, I cant bring people back from the dead. Other than that, you
got it!
Aladdin
: I see
Genie
: So what is your first wish? What is it what is it what is it???
Aladdin
: (thinks hard.) Well
Genie
: But, uh, mm, I see you have a nice ring there.
Aladdin
: What? This? Its from my mother.
Genie
: Um, I mean not the ring. Butsomething, someone, inside that
(blushing). Try to rub it!
(Aladdin rubbed the ring, and another genie appeared)
Samara
: Ahhh finally! Its been so long since I last got out from that
ring!
Aladdin
: Who- who are you?!
Samara
: Im Samara, the Genie of the Ring. Its nice to finally meet
you personally, master. It took you so long to realize my presence in
that ring of yours.
Genie
: (flirty gesture) Hi, um, hello, um, Samararight? Nice to meet you
hehehe
Samara
: Hello, there. (blinks)
Genie
: So, how long have you been there, pretty? (flirts)
Samara
: Ive been
Aladdin
: Ahem! Anyway, how could you grant my wish if you cant get
me out of here?
Genie
: You can use your wish to get out of here. Just say the magic word.
Aladdin
: I wish to get out of this cave. And for the second wish, I wish
to be a prince!

SCENE 12 (Little Girls Room)

: So, Aladdin already used two of his wishes right? And the genie
granted them!
: Yes, thats right.
: So whats his last wish mom?
: Youll find out soon. So, Jafar continued his evil plan. He persuaded
the Sultan so he would ask Jasmine to marry him.

SCENE 13 (Castle)
Sultan
: Jasmine, since tomorrow is your birthday, we need to find you a
suitor by now.
Jasmine
: But father, Ive found my own prince! Well, not literally a
prince, but I want to marry him.
Jafar
: (walks in) Hes a poor boy on the market, Your Highness.
Sultan
: What?! No, Jasmine, you can never marry him. Besides, Ive already
decided who you will be married to. You will marry Jafar!
Jafar
: (grins and bow) Yes, my princess. Youll soon be the queen to my
king.
Jasmine
: No, father! I will never marry this evil! (walks away)
Sultan
: Wait, Jasmine! Jasmine! (chases her)
Miago
: Yes, master! Were totally going to get rid of them soon! After you
marry her, we can drop that old man off the cliff, and that girl can go
to!
Jafar
: Soon, Miago. Very soon
Narrator
: Suddenly, theres a trumpet sound and people cheers out of the
palace. It was Aladdin dressed as a prince. With his wish granted from
the genie, he totally looked like a prince.
(Aladdin comes with his parade)
Samara
: Please welcome my master, Prince Ali Ababwa! He came all
the way here to marry the princess!
Miago
: What?! What is going on here?
Jafar
: The princess will never want to marry him.
14.
SCENE 14 (Jasmines Room)
Jasmine
: Who do they think they are? Deciding my future like that.
(Aladdin knocks the door to her room)
Jasmine
: (startled) Who are you?
Aladdin
: Im-Im Prince Ali Ababwa. Im here to marry you, Princess
Jasmine.
Jasmine
: Do you think I want to? Get out of here!
Aladdin
: But first, would you at least come with me to see the world?
Jasmine
: Well
Aladdin
: I can show you the world
(A Whole New World starts playing)
Narrator
: So, they traveled on a magic carpet to see the world. Jasmine fell in
love with Aladdin although she still didnt know who he really was.
But Jafar cant be fooled. He knew the truth and he planned to get
after him. Meanwhile, back in Aladdins palace

SCENE 15 (Aladdins Castle)
Samara
: My handsome Master, I think you should tell the Princess the
truth.
Aladdin
: The truth about what?
Samara
: That youre not really a wealthy prince.

: And tell her that Im just a poor thief that live on a market
street? No way!
: But Master, I think we should always tell the truth to the
people you love. Now, do you love the Princess?
: I do, butIm afraid she wont accept me if she knows who I
really am.
: If shes your true love, she will love you no matter what, Master. Like
my love to Samara(dreaming eyes)
: Oh, shut up!

SCENE 16 (Castle)
Jasmine
: Dad, I finally found my true love!
Sultan
: But, Jafar is your perfect suitor!
Jasmine
: Jafar? But, Dad
Jafar
: Dont worry Princess, I will take care of you.
Guard 1
: Hey, look!
Guard 2
: What? What happened?
Guard 1
: Not what, but who! Its Prince Ali!
Guard 2
: Right! Prince Ali who?
Jasmine
: Prince Ali, youre back!
Aladdin
: I will never leave you, Princess.
(Aladdin, Jasmine, and Sultan chats indefinitely)
Jafar
: (whispers) Miago, what do I have to do?
Miago
: Convince the Sultan so you could still marry Jasmine!
Jafar
: But(looks at Aladdin) Miago! He has the magic lamp!
Miago
: Take care of this suitor business first, then we will take care of the
lamp after.
Jafar
: (joins the rest) Stop this nonsense! Jasmine, you have found your
perfect suitor. Me!
Jasmine
: But, Dad, I love Prince Ali.
Sultan
: You love him? Well, then, theres no reason to force you! You can
marry Prince Ali if you love him!
Aladdin
: Your Highness, Jafar is a bad guy. He tricked you so you would
pick him as a suitor, so he could kill you and Jasmine and be a Sultan!
Sultan
: Jafar, my most trusted counselor, plotting against me all this time.
Just horrible. How will I ever(He stops in mid sentence and looks at
the pair.) Can it be true? My daughter has finally chosen a suitor?
(She nods) Ha ha! Thank God! You two will be wed at once! Yes, yes.
And you'll be happy and prosperous, and then my boy, you will be
sultan!
Aladdin
: Sultan?
Sultan
: Yes, a fine man like you is exactly what this kingdom needs!
(ALADDIN laughs uncomfortably)

SCENE 17 (Castle Room)
Narrator
: Being kicked out from the castle, doesnt stop Jafars evil plan. After
seeing Aladdin with the magic lamp the day before, Jafar got an even
meaner plan
Aladdin
: Sultan? They want me to be sultan?
Samara
: Dont be so sad, Master! You have found true love!
Genie
: So, what are you gonna do next? By the way, you can always say
Im going to free the Genie to set me free!
Samara
: (whispers) Genie! How dare you
Aladdin
: Genie...I can't.

Genie
Aladdin

: Sure you can. You just go "Genie, I wish you free."

: I'm serious. Look, I'm sorry--I really am. But they want to
make me sultan--no!, They want to make Prince Ali sultan. Without
you, I'm just Aladdin.
Genie
: Al, you won!
Aladdin
: Because of you! The only reason anyone thinks I'm anything
is because of you. What if they find out I'm not really a prince?
(Quietly) What if Jasmine finds out? I'll lose her. Genie, I can't keep
this up on my own. I can't wish you free.
Genie
: (Sarcastically) Hey, I understand. Now Im going to leave you alone!
(walks away mad)
Aladdin
: Genie, I'm really sorry. (Talking to lamp)Well, fine. (He slams a
pillow on top of the LAMP.) What am I doing? Genie's right--I gotta tell
Jasmine the truth.
Akilah
: (knocks) Prince Ali, youre wanted by the Sultan.
Aladdin
: What for?
Akilah
: I think its about your wedding plans. Congratulations! Princess
Jasmine is so lucky, shes going to have you as her prince!
Aladdin
: Thank you.
Akilah
: You two are going to be perfect! A fine prince and a wealthy princess
with great inheritance, what could be better?
Aladdin
: Yeah, a fine prince(sighs)
Akilah
: Come on, we dont want the Sultan waiting for too long!
Jafar
: (hidden somewhere near, watching Aladdin and Akilah go)
Remember, take the lamp quietly and quickly, and try not to get
caught!
Miago
: Of course, just leave it to me!
Jafar
: Dont be so confident! Hurry!
(Miago tiptoes and search for the lamp. She finally found it and gives a thumbs up)

SCENE 18 (Castles Balcony)
Aladdin
: Jasmine?
Jasmine
: Ali, where have you been?
Aladdin
: There's something I've got to tell you.
Jasmine
: The whole kingdom has turned out for father's
announcement!
Aladdin
: No! But Jasmine, listen to me, please!
Jasmine
: Good luck!
Sultan
: People of Agrabah, My daughter have finally chosen a suitor! Ali
Ababwa!
(Jasmine looks happy, and Aladdin smiles uncomfortably)
Miago
: Look at them, cheering for that dirty boy!
Jafar
: Let them cheer.
(He lifts the lamp and rubs it. Genie comes out.)
Genie
: Aladdinwait, I don't think you're him. Wheres my master you
ugly?!
Jafar
: I am your master now.
Miago
: Yeah, hes your master!
Genie
: OH MY GOD!
Jafar
: Genie, grant me my first wish. I wish to rule on high, as sultan!!!
(the earth is shaking, people screaming and confused)
Jafar
: I am now the Sultan of Agrabah!
Sultan
: You evil betrayer!
Aladdin
: (sees the lamp) You took the lamp away from me!

: Genie! Second wish, I wish to be the most powerful sorcerer on this

land!
: No, Genie, no!
: Sorry Al, hes my master now. Cant help you anymore!
: People! Meet your most powerful sorcerer!

SCENE 19 (Castle)

: Excuse me, youre from the palace, right?
Akilah
: Thats right, Maam. Who are you?
Aladdins mom
: It doesnt matter who I am. But may I ask you something?
Akilah
: Sure, what is it?
Aladdins mom
: That young boy, is he really a prince?
Akilah
: Yes, Im sure. Whats wrong?
Aladdins mom
: Hehe really looks like my son, Aladdin. What is his name
again?
Akilah
: Prince Ali Ababwa, Maam.
Aladdins mom
: Theres no doubt, hes definitely my son, Aladdin.
Merchant
: (joins in) What? Hes that boy who often steals from my cart?
Aladdins mom
: My son often steals? Forgive us, were so poor. I cant provide
him with good food.
Merchant
: If he really is your son, then I have to ask him to pay all the things
he stole from me.

: Wait How can it be? How can he is actually not a prince and just
an ordinary boy?
Aladdins mom
: He once lived with me in this little house. But one day, he told
hes going somewhere to make me proud.

: But are you sure hes not the prince? He really looks like one.
Aladdins mom
: Absolutely. It cant be wrong, I recognized my own son!
Merchant
: Well then Im still wondering how he got all those prince things.

: Aha! Got you! I have to tell this to Jafar. He knew something is
wrong from the start. Look, hes the guy weve been trying to capture
on the marketplace!
Guard 2
: Yeah, right! Butisnt he the prince?
Guard 1
: No hes not! Now hurry, we need to tell Jafar.
Guard 2
: Tell Jafar? About what?
Guard 1
: (frustrated) Ahh! Why are you so stupid? Just go!
Guard 2
: Hey! I might not think as fast as you do, but Im not stupid!

(Aladdin sneaks in)

: Genie! I wish for Jasmine to fall in love with me!

I have to make sure youre dead. Im the most powerful sorcerer!
Aladdin
: But not more powerful than the Genie!
Genie
: Me?
Samara
: (glaring and whispering) Just ssh and play along!
(Guard 1, Guard 2, Aladdins mom and Akilah walk in, running)

: Jafar! Master! Ive got something to tell you!
Akilah
: No! Stop, no please dont!
Guard 2
: That Prince Ali Ababwa is not a prince! Hes Aladdin, the boy
weve been chasing around the marketplace. Right, buddy? Im not
stupid!
Guard 1
: Whatever, the thing is
Miago
: We already knew!
Guard 1 & 2 : Oh
Aladdin
: Anyway! You cant grant wishes, Jafar. Thats why youre not
that powerful!
Jafar
: What?! Oh right so, I wish to be a genie! (turns into a genie)
Miago
: Jafar? Master? Whats happening here?
Jafar
: No, wait, no!! I wish to be back as a human! Noooo! (disappearing
inside a lamp)
Narrator
: Since Jafar actually still got one more wish, the Genie then granted
his last one. Jafar never knew that by being a genie, he cant live
freely until someone sets him free. He has to live in a lamp until
someone found it, and then he has to grant that persons wishes.
Aladdins mom
: Aladdin! I knew its you, honey!
Aladdin
: Yeah its me, mother. (turns to Jasmine) Sothis is the truth.
Ive been trying to tell
Jasmine
: Sssh. Its alright, I understand why you did that. I still want to
marry you.
Sultan
: But hes not a prince!!!
Samara
: Whatever people say, youll always be my prince, master.
Sultan
: Oh, thats right! Youve certainly proven your worth as far as Im
concerned. Its the law thats the problem.
Jasmine
: Father?
Sultan
: Well, Im the sultan right? From this day forth, the princess shall
marry whomever she deems worthy. I can make you a prince, anyway.
Its a piece of cake!
Jasmine
: Thank you, father!
Akilah
: Congratulations, my princess. Youve found your true love. May God
always bless you both until the day death tears you apart.

Aladdins mom
: Oh, my sonIm so happy for you! Thank you, Your Highness,
for understanding what our children want. Youre really the wisest
Sultan ever to change the law.
Aladdin
: I still have one more thing to do. Genie, that last wish of mine,
I wish for your freedom!
Genie
: Iwhat? Im free IM FREE!
Samara
: Youre free, Genie!
Aladdin
: And take this ring with you I want you to be happy with
Samara.
Genie
: (embarrassed) Lets go travel the worldddd! OMG Im
freeeeeeeeee~!
(Everyone laughs)
Narrator
: So in the end, Jasmine married his prince charming. Aladdin became
a real prince and he proved his promise to his beloved mother. Genie
and Samara really did travel around the world, but they still came
back home anyway. Everyone got their own happiness, and they all
lived happily ever after.

SCENE 21 (Little Girls Room)

: Mom?

: Hmm?
Little Girl
: Will I ever find my true love? I want to be like Jasmine. She got to
marry her prince charming. Youll never force me to do anything that I
dont want, right?
Mom
: Sure thing, honey. For me, youll always be the princess.
Little Girl
: Really?
Mom
: (nods) Now, its getting late. Go to sleep, okay?
Little Girl
: Okay mom! I think I would have a dream about Aladdin and Jasmine.
That story is just wonderful! Tell me another one tomorrows night,
okay?

: Okay. Goodnight, honey.
Little Girl
: Goodnight, mom.
