dSPACE FAQ 266

Optionally you can select the new MATLAB Release as the preferred one.
A preferred connection is the default MATLAB installation which is used by the dSPACE
products, for example, when dSPACE software products automatically start MATLAB, or
generate specific MATLAB files.

For more information please refer to chapter How to Link RCP and HIL Software with
MATLAB Support to a Different MATLAB Installation in the Software Installation and
Management Guide (SWInst.pdf).

TargetLink

TargetLink before 3.2:

o

Start the dSPACE TargetLink Maintenance Setup and select the Modify option.
When the setup prompts for MATLAB support and the MATLAB installation path, select
the new MATLAB path.

TargetLink Version 3.2 or newer:

o

Start the dSPACE Installation Manager and integrate the new MATLAB version
if it is not integrated yet (MATLAB Integration Button Add).
