Recall all the circumstances that might change
the nature of the sins you wish to confess.

and how we are going to express it avoid random
talk.
When is the examination of conscience careless?
When we rust to confessional after one to two

The SEAL OF CONFESSION is the most solemn
obligation of the priest to keep secret what has

The priest may not break this seal even to save

It must be observed even in the court of justice,
for the divine law is higher than human law.

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring
spiritual and even physical strength during an
illness, especially near the time of death. It is
most likely one of the last sacraments one will
receive. A sacrament is an outward sign
established by Jesus Christ to confer inward
grace. In more basic terms, it is a rite that is
performed to convey Gods grace to the recipient,
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Like all the sacraments, holy anointing was
instituted by Jesus Christ during his earthly
ministry. The Catechism explains, "This sacred
anointing of the sick was instituted by Christ our
Lord as a true and proper sacrament of the New
Testament. It is alluded to indeed by Mark, but is
recommended to the faithful and promulgated by
James the apostle and brother of the Lord" (CCC
1511; Mark 6:13; Jas. 5:14-15).
The anointing of the sick conveys several graces
and imparts gifts of strengthening in the Holy
Spirit against anxiety, discouragement, and
temptation, and conveys peace and fortitude
(CCC 1520). These graces flow from the atoning
death of Jesus Christ, for "this was to fulfill what
was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He took our
infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matt. 8:17).
The most important part of the last rites is the
reception of the Lord in ones final Communion,
also called "Viaticum" (Latin = that which you
take on the road, i.e., provisions for a journey)
This special Communion prepares us to travel
with the Lord on the final part of our journey.

MATRIMONY
Form: I take you as my wife; I take you as
my husband
Matter: Exchange of consent
Minister: Spouse
Sacred Scripture: Ephisians 5:21-32
Husbands should love their wives.
First; love out to be sacrificial. The love of the
husband for his wife must be like the love of
Christ for the church as He had given Himself for
the Church. The husband is the head of the wife
but he must love his wife with the love which
never exercises a tyranny of control, but a love
that is always willing to make any sacrifice for the
beloved.
Second; love must be purifying. Christ continues
to cleanse and consecrate the Church through
Baptism. Real love is the great purifier of life.
Third; love must be caring. Husband must love
his wife just as he loves his own body.

Fourth; love is unbreakable. Men are united to

their wives as the members of the body are
united each other; and would no more think of
separating from her than tearing his own body
apart.
Lastly, the whole relationship is in the Lord.
1. Conjugal Love
- In any human relationship, such as
marriage and family, is given life and
sustained by love. Without love the
family cannot live, grow and perfect
itself as a community of persons (FC
18). Love in marriage is not a
romantic or simply a legendary feeling,
but a constant growing in the couples
commitment to be faithful and true.
2. Fidelity in Marriage
- the intimate union in marriage, as a
mutual gift of two persons, and the
good of the children, demands total
fidelity from the spouses and requires
an unbreakable unity between them..
- Till death do us part. The
indissolubility of the marriage
covenant is expressed in the marriage
contract. Fidelity in marriage is
possible through Christs grace-filled
presence in the Holy Spirit. They are
able to transcend all because of the
sacramental grace in marriage.
- Origin of the sacraments
- The sacrament takes root in the ministry of
Jesus. In the scriptures it is often seen how
Jesus lavishes the sick, poor and needy.
Although the people whom society deemed
unclean and those who chose to associate

themselves with them were rendered unfit,

they were the ones whom Jesus
administered. His heart went out to the sick
and called them the least of My brethren.
Through his deep love and compassion, He
performed many miracles on them and
revealed the signs of salvation which were
promise to mankind.
The ministry of healing the sick, formed as
part of Christs messianic mission described
in Isaiah 61:1. This mission was also passed
to his apostles so they many continues the
healing ministry.
During the early years, oil which was
blessed by this bishop or priest was used as
an internal or external healing remedy. It
was understood that anointing was to
prepare someone for death rather than
healing them. As it developed, people were
being anointed through the senses, hands
and feet while asking forgiveness from God.
This led to the sacrament being known as
extrena unctio or the last anointing.
Through this, the dying person received with
the anointing, absolution and communion.
In the 16th century, the council of trent
affirmed that the sacrament was for the
dying (and not those who could recover) and
taught that the priest was the proper
ministerof the sacrament which included
penance.
