RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

1. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement including transcripts and awards
(50%); leadership ability (10%); community involvement (10%) and essay (30%).
Application must be submitted with your most recent transcript.
2. The candidate must:
a) be a high school senior or full time college student
b) must maintain a 3.2 GPA average or higher
3. The application and all attachments must be mailed to Lisa Sprague at Worcester Regional Association
of Realtors, 492 Washington Street, Auburn, MA 01501, no later than May 1, 2015. Any application
postmarked after that date will be disqualified.
4. At the discretion of the selection committee, candidates may be asked to participate in a personal
interview.
5. This Scholarship will be awarded after the student has received their first semester grades. He/she will
submit their transcript to Lisa Sprague at the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors to receive
their scholarship award.
6. Scholarships are designated for children or grandchildren of Realtor members of the Association;
affiliate members of the Association or full-time staff employees of the association. The committee will
collect and review all applications, and make decisions based on factors including academic
achievement, school and sports involvement, community activities, work experience and the students
goals and personal accomplishments.
