Course Description/Overview
Students will complete this Module with a working knowledge of
Operational Leadership & Supervisory Skills as well as gaining a working
knowledge of Project Management Principles. Students will learn about
human motivation, learning styles, development of teams, problem
solving, critical thinking, legal aspects of hiring and firing, establishing
performance expectations, taking corrective action, conducting effective
meetings, corporate management communications and how to present a
business case including a return on investment analysis.

Assignments and Late Assignments


Students must complete all assignments within the timeline of the
semester. Students are to turn in all assignments via Canvas. The Final
Exam must be completed in Canvas.
OJTE (On-the-Job Training Experiences): For this Module, all OJTE
work will be conducted off site or at a students place of employment.
Progress on the project management courses will be tracked on-line. At
the conclusion of your 90-hour OJTE your designated coordinating
supervisor or DXATC instructor must sign off on your work.

Course Policies
Students will be expected to maintain 100% attendance. In the
occurrence that a class is missed, the student will have to catch up by
watching a recorded video of the class that is located on Canvas, and
writing a one page synopsis on what they learned from the class, or
perform other make-up work as assigned. Unless there is a special
circumstance, students will only be allowed to make up a total of 2
classes.
