[BUSINESS DESCRIPTION AND FINANCIAL PROJECTION]
INTRODUCTION:
PLAN- 1:
Plan 1 is about the production of DOCATES Jam which will be the product of Dubai Dry
Dates, which is committed to supply healthy and nutritious products which are high in quality
and trustworthy in use. Dubai Dry Dates supports the goals with a corporate philosophy of
adhering to the higher ethics in all its business dealings, treatment of its employees and in social
and environmental policies.
PLAN- 2:
Plan 2 is about producing shoes which is named as Dubai Style Shoes, will be devoted to
provide high quality and comfortable leather shoes for ladies and kids. We make sure that our
styles always are the cutting-edge fashion footwear that the desire of ladies will be fulfilled and
also sets a place in the international platform.
SMART OBJECTIVES:
An objective can be explained as the description of the goals that an organization wants to
achieve. So these objectives should be Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Relevant and Time
Based (Alexander, 2013). For both plans quality and performance would be the utmost objectives
which the organization is required to achieve.
Because
quality should be outclass regarding to plan 1, so that health and nutrition should be
given to the customers and for this performance of the employees would be gaged according to
the set rules and regulation.

[BUSINESS DESCRIPTION AND FINANCIAL PROJECTION]
As far as plan 2 is concerned there is a lot of competing in the market so quality and comfort
would give a cutting edge to the brand and for this the performance of the employees is the basic
instrument and an important element to get the desired goal of the organization.
We are choosing these two plans because the demand for both plans in the market is very high
which will give the organizations to flourish in a healthy and competing market of Dubai.
PRODUCT:
Plan 1:
DOCATES Jam is the product of Dubai Dry Dates, which is made of dry dates. This would be
the unique flavor jam in the market of Dubai which will give it the cutting edge. As dates are
highly produced in Dubai so the production of DOCATES Jam would be beneficial.

Plan 2:
The Dubai Style Shoes will be producing leather shoes for ladies and kids of the higher and
middle class of the society. Comfort and style will give it cutting edge to the shoes and that is
also high in demand in the society.

MARKET RESEARCH:
As for now we chose plan 1 to go on with. For this we have interviewed most people at the
shopping mall about the taste and expectations of the people of every class (Stone, 2001). As jam
is this the basic item of the breakfast table so that for now we will be working on this project.
The targeted buyer for the product will be higher and middle class of the society.
PRICING AND PROMOTION:
Dubai Dry Dates will consider both internal and external factors to determine the price of
DOCATES (Philp Kotler, 2008). These are as follows:
Internal Factors:
Target costing: As our target market is mass market so we will fix a price that will be
affordable for each class means we will fix an average price through using this potent
strategic weapon.
Competition: DOCATES jam in the market is followed by adopting less for more
strategy, which is comparatively low from its competitors keeping in view the keen
consideration about competitors costs, price and market offerings.
External Factors:

[BUSINESS DESCRIPTION AND FINANCIAL PROJECTION]
FINAL CHOICE:
From the above mentioned plans we chose to work on the DOCATES Jam of Dubai Dry Dates as
the other business required a large investment. As the raw material of jam which is dry dates is
highly available in Dubai so the import expenses will be saved but in the shoes business the
leather will be the raw material which have to be imported will add the expense in the business
(William M. Pride, 2012). Dubai Dry Dates will do a customer research by interviewing after
introducing the jam so that it will help them to emerge as a global challenger in the market.
