February 2005 in Beirut. Trial Preparation: On 24 January, the Defence Counsel filed a Joint Motion to vacate the trial date of 25 March citing a number of reasons. The Prosecution did not object to vacate this trial date. However, the decision to change the tentative date of trial is the prerogative of the Pre Trial Judge after taking into consideration the motions of the parties, the Victims Legal Representatives and the rights of the accused. He is considering this motion and will make a decision in due course.
