A Conceptual Study for a Church

A church is a place for contemplation
and reflection, finding a connection to
a Supreme Being.
The concept of the building is a
terraced mountain, stepped towards
the heavens. The northern part of the
building
lets
occupants
and
passersby see through the building
and landscape while the south facade
serves as a backdrop as well as
protection from the sun. Water
surrounds the building, symbolizing
baptism and life which also functions
to cool the air that passes through the
building.
