INTRODUCTION

Safety is an attitude.a frame of mind.

Safety is not something you can take
or leave alone.
Safety is not posters, slogans or rules,
nor is the movies, meeting,
investigations or inspections.

INTRODUCTION

Safety is an attitude.a frame of mind.

It is the awareness of ones environment &
actions, all day & everyday.
Safety is knowing what is going on, knowing
what can injure anyone/anything, knowing
how to prevent that injury & then acting to
prevent it.

INTRODUCTION

Safety is an attitude.a frame of mind.

To do all these actions, does not require
genius, a phD or even title or position or
rank.
All we need is intelligence & reasonable
amount of native ability to see, to hear & to
think.

LONG TERM VISION FOR OSH IN MALAYSIA

OSH-MASTER PLAN 15

OSH Education Programs from Public and Private Institute of Higher Learning

Efforts to increase awareness of all stakeholders and the

general public on the need for a safe workplace with no
health hazards require diligent efforts and the participation
of numerous parties.
Different approaches should be carried out in an
integrated, comprehensive and continuous
manner for maximum effectiveness.
OSH is an important issue
towards ensuring a quality working life as well as the
survival of employers in any business transaction.
As such,
all allocated expenditure and efforts to ensure the success
of the OSH program and its management system
should be
regarded as an

investment.
