lunar day called Tithi.

Gregorian calendar.
During the bright half , from new moon to full moon,

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
Especially during bright half / Shukla Paksha.

Right nostril dominance at sunrise auspicious on :

Sunday, Tuesday, Saturday
Especially during dark half / Krishna Paksha.

 So, the left (ida) channel is connected with right brain dominance.
The right (pingala) channel is connected with left brain dominance.

How to detect dominant nostril / breath?

1. Block one nostril by pressing it and observe if breath is passing
through the opposite nostril unobstructed. Else, press the
congested nostril.
2. Breathe out on a piece of glass/ mirror and observe the deposit of
vapor. The vapor mark will be larger on the side of the operating
nostril. Equal indicates dominance of both nostrils.
