EARTH WORK
EXCAVATION :
Technique : the technique of excavation was done with bored
piling.
Process : the process of pile bore is first the steel circular
casing are installed into the grounds after that the soil was
DEWATERING : the dewatering of the site was done by multiple
stages dewatering method. The dewatering process was done
with the help of non-submersible dewatering pump.
SUB STRUCTURE
FOUNDATION : foundation of the plot was done by end bearing
pile method. For making end bearing pile foundation plant and
material used were HR 130 automatic machine, pilling rig, diesel.
PLINTH : plinth beams connected the columns at fix level from the
ground for this plant used were batching plant, steel yard, transit
mixture and material used were aggregate, steel, sand, cement,
water, diesel.
SUPERSTRUCTURE

TYPE OF FRAME : the structure was r.c.c. framed structure. The

plant used were batching plant, transit mixture, steel yard, needle
vibrator. In this method material used were sand, cement,
aggregate, diesel and water.
TYPE OF CONNECTION : all connection there was r.c.c. the transit
mixture was used to prepare fresh concrete. In this method plant
used were transit mixture, needle vibrator pump and material
used were sand, cement, aggregate, diesel and water.
FLOORING : the flooring was done ceramic tiles. In this method
material used were sand, cement, aggregate, water.
WALL AND WALL CLADING : there was convectional and mivan
used for wall and wall cladding. In convectional shuttering wall
was of concrete block and wall cladding was done of cement
mortar. In mivan shuttring there was no need of wall cladding. In
this method material used were sand, aggregate, water, steel.
EXTERNAL WORK
CAR PARKING : parking of the completed project was stilt parking
in this parking the plant and material used were steel yard,
fabrication, paints, reflector.
DRAINAGE : pipe drainage system was used in this project . the
plant and material used were dewatering pump, vibrator, diesel.
PAVEMENT : combine pavement method used in this method
plant and material used were excavator, loader, road paver plant,
bitumen placer, roller, transit mixture and material used were
cement, aggregate, bitumen, diesel, vibrator, asphalt.

Ground work
Advantages
Ongoing: jcb, dumper and hand helps were used
for excavation used so it reduced construction cost.
Completed: pilling method was used for
excavation the advantages of this is it gives perfect finishing and
also work was done fast.
Disadvantages
Ongoing : jcb, dumper and hand helps were used
for excavation so it was a time consumption process.
Completed : pilling method was costly as
compare to jcb, dumper and hand helps.
Sub structure

Advantages
Ongoing : isolated foundation was used. And it
was affordable and construction procedure of isolated foundation
is simple.
Completed : end bearing pilling foundation were
used it takes heavy load
Disadvantages
Ongoing : isolated foundation does not takes
heavy load and used in small projects.
Completed : end bearing pilling foundation was
costly.
Super structure
Advantages
Ongoing :
r.c.c framed structure : the
construction was done fast and simple.
Flooring : kota stone is hard tough
and it is cheap.
Completed :
Mivan shuttering : high quality
finish, cost effective, column and beam was cast in one operation.
The work was done fast.
Disadvantages
Ongoing :
r.c.c framed structure :it is costly and
maintenance problem.

Flooring : kota stone flooring does

not look good as compare to others.
Completed :
Mivan shuttering modification not
possible.
External work
Advantages
Ongoing :
Flexible pavement : ability to be
easily open and patched and easy to repair.
Car parking : alley car parking does
not need any construction

Completed :
Combination of rigid and flexible
pavement was easily open and patched.
Car parking : stilt car parking was
easily made and also in low cost.
Disadvantages
Ongoing :
Flexible pavement : hiher
maintenance cost .
Completed :
Combination of rigid and flexible
pavement was higher maintenance cost.
