Crochet info: Always replace first dc on row with 1 ch.
Bottom: Crochet 23 ch on crochet hook size 5 mm with Eskimo. Crochet 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, and then 1 dc in
each ch = 22 dc. Read Crochet info! Remember the crochet tension! Now crochet 1 dc in each dc until piece
measures 24 cm and cut thread, square measures 18 x 24 cm. Crochet another square like this (2 squares to make the
bottom sturdier). Crochet the squares tog with 1 dc in each of the 22 dc along each shorter side and with 30 dc along
each longer side = 104 dc. Insert a Marking Thread (MT) at the beg of round. Now continue in the round with 1 dc in
each dc. When bag measures 25 cm from MT work next round as follows: * 1 dc in each of the first 10 dc, 3 ch, skip
3 dc * repeat from *-* a total of 8 times. On next round work 1 dc in each dc and 1 dc in each of the 3 ch from
previous round = 104 dc. Continue with 1 dc in each dc until piece measures 30 cm from MT. Finish round with 1 sl
st in first dc on round and cut the thread.
Strap: Crochet 8 ch on crochet hook size 5 mm with 2 threads Paris and form a ring with a sl st. Work 1 dc in each ch
= 7 dc. Continue in the round with 1 dc in each dc until strap measures 200 cm. Cut the thread and pull strap through
holes on bag twice. Sew tog the ends.
Mobile phone pocket: Crochet 9 ch on crochet hook size 5 mm with Eskimo. Crochet 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook and
then 1 dc in each ch on both sides of ch chain = 16 dc (8 dc on each side). Work 1 dc in each dc until pocket measures
11 cm. Now crochet a string to attach mobile pocket inside the bag as follows: Crochet a row of ch measuring approx
22 cm, and work 1 dc in each ch. Cut the thread and attach on inside of bag.

Bag: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 112 sts on circular needle size 7 mm with 1 thread Eskimo.
Insert 1 Marking Thread (MT) at beg of round and 1 after 56 sts (to mark the sides). Work stocking st in the round
until piece measures approx 16 cm. Remember the knitting tension! Now work next round as follows: * M.1, M.1,
M.2, M.2 *, repeat from *-* 2 times = 56 sts on round. K 1 round and P 1 round. Now continue with 2 threads
Eskimo. K 1 round and continue in moss st see above. After approx 8 cm moss st, K 1 round, P 1 round, K 1 round
and P 1 round. On next round keep the first 4 sts on needle, cast off the next 49 sts and keep the last 3 sts on needle =
7 sts for strap. Continue in moss st on the 7 sts until strap measures approx 48 cm. Cast off.
Assembly: Sew bag tog at bottom (make sure there is a MT each side). Sew the strap tog, edge to edge so it becomes
round, but leave approx 5 cm towards the bag each side. Attach strap to the other side of bag.
