Reception Class Only

PE kits were sent home on Friday with
YR children. YR children are to come
dressed in their full PE kit on
Thursday morning (21st May) for their
class assembly.
Disco clothes (named) for YR should be
sent in to school on Thursday in a
named carrier bag and staff will help
the children to get changed after
assembly.

Forest School
Year 4 will take part in Forest School
on Monday 8th June.
Please send children with appropriate
clothing for the weather conditions.
School Closure for Half-Term
Reminder - School closes for HalfTerm on Friday 22nd May @ 3:20pm
and reopens on Monday 1st June @
8:45am.
Friday 22nd will be a non-uniform day
in aid of CRY. Please send 1 per
pupil if they would like to take part.

PTFA Events

The school is charged a transaction fee when

parents use the online payment facility. We would,
therefore, like to encourage parents to pay for as
many things as possible in a single transaction
because for example, paying for a trip and topping up
dinner money at the same time counts as one
transaction. Thank you.

Netball Club Changes

Sports Day
Following the success of the last two years, this will
take place on Thursday 11th June at UCLan Sports
Arena. The children will need to be dropped off at
the Arena at 8.45am-8.55am and picked up at
3.20pm.

Going to secondary school?

If any parents of Year 6 children are concerned
about their transition to High School, please contact
Mrs Wright.

Year 6 Netball Club will finish this week. Thank you

to Year 6 pupils for the fantastic effort they have
put in at the club and matches/competitions over
the year.
From Monday 1st June, Year 4 children will be invited
to attend Netball Club on Mondays along with Year 5
pupils.
Netball Club will continue to run on Wednesdays for
Y5 only.

Fundraising Week
Harris Got Talent
Please see separate email to be sent out later this
week with further information and details of class
audition times.

Week beginning 15th June will be a fundraising week

in school in aid of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
The School Council have organised the week and all
classes will be involved; further information to
follow.
