1. This membership is limited and related to redressal of the consumer grievances, submitted
with the organisation through the complaints, unless and otherwise, activities expressly
authourised by the organisation.
2. As per the charter/objectives of the organisation the activities of the organisation are not for
profit and the members are supposed to volunteer and work mainly to further the broader aim
and objective of the organisation.
3. The mode of consumer redressal will be covered under the following steps:
Complaint submitted to the organisation complaint will be forwarded by the organisation
to the member the member will get in touch with the consumer to get redressed the
grievances of the complainant. The member shall forward every query/complaint submitted
to him, to the organization on mail@consumerredressal.com.
4. The members are supposed to work on the volunteer basis and they will not treat consumers
as their clients (and this would go against the philosophy of the organisation and its redressal
initiative) and will not charge professional fees.
5. Though the aim and objective of the organisation is non-profit but the members may charge
some requisite expenses incurred for redressal of the grievances.
6. The members will assist the consumer with awareness, information, guidance, out of court
settlement and if required and necessary by appearing in the respective consumer forums.
7. The specific member who will attend the consumer in District consumer forum will represent
the consumer cases in State Consumer forum; but if the particular member expresses his
inability to represent the consumer cases in State Commissions, the organisation will depute
another member to represent the consumer in the State Commissions.
8. The representation of the consumer cases in National Commission will be done only by the
organisation itself. Any member may be entrusted to represent the consumer in National
Commission if the organisation feels it necessary and required.
9. The organisation will assist the member with Legal Research, Drafting and other assistances
in any matters/cases, if required by the member.
10. The organisation reserves its right to relieve any member of any case in the interest of the
consumer and for achievement of the aims and objectives of the organisation.
11. The organisation reserves right to cancel the membership of any member for violation of the
terms and conditions of this membership agreement. The membership can be cancelled
immediately on the valid and verified complaint of the consumer.
12. The organisation is working for the social welfare and making convenient the redressal of
consumer grievances through possible means and available methods of redressal; it is
expected from the member that he/she works in compliance of strict Professional Ethics,
Conscious Morality and establish Best Self Practices.
