loads in excess of manufacturers tolerances are not applied to pump discharge and
suction nozzles during the construction process and prior to installation of permanent pipe
supports.
D. Purchaser will thoroughly inspect pumps after installation to ensure no physical damage
has occurred during installation. If such damage is discovered, Purchaser will arrange with
Pump Vendor to have the damage properly repaired.
3.02 CLOSEOUT ACTIVITIES
A. If pump cases are to receive thermal or acoustic insulation, this insulation shall be the
removable type that can be reused multiple times and removed for pump maintenance.
Fabrication and installation of this insulation shall be completed prior to initial startup.
