Dear Friends,

As always, I hope that this letter finds you and your family well and blessed with the riches of God’s love for
you. Thank you for your support and prayer for the work of Twentyonehundred Productions and for Cari and
me.

Urbana 09
Most of our work over the last year culminated on December 27-31 at InterVarsity’s 22nd Urbana Missions
Conference. Urbana was very exciting; many saying the program was the best in the history of Urbana.

God moved greatly through our and many others’ work at Urbana. Out of the 16,000 people who attended
Urbana 09:
7,666 committed to serving in cross-cultural missions. 2,676 of them committed to serving at least two
years.
2,232 re-committed or committed to following Jesus. 5,043 committed to invite someone to an outreach
bible study.

Clockwise: 1) Over 16,000 students listening to one of the many challenging speakers and testimonies. 2) The 256 organizations
exhibiting at Urbana, give attendees tangible avenues into missions. 3) Ramez Atallah of the Bible Society of Egypt helped
attendees enter God’s word through daily Bible exposition. 4) Attendees pause to pray in the exhibition hall. 5) Filling out cards
to indicate their short or long term commitment to missions. 6) Packing into one of numerous seminar options.

Twentyonehundred Productions was right in the middle of all this at Urbana, overseeing the audio video for
the event, creating thought provoking and creative video content, and collaborating with the speakers and
the worship, dance, and drama teams to help each attendee see and hear God’s call for them. At the
conference, I did many tasks from shooting video and making sure many many technical details fell into
place.

Greek Conference:
After Urbana we hit the ground running in January, reorganizing and preparing for upcoming work. On
February 11th, a small team of us will be traveling to Indianapolis to provide sound, video and lighting
support for Greek Conference—InterVarsity’s national conference for fraternities and sororities. Greek
conference is often a very energetic event and one where many students make commitments to follow
Christ for the first time and while others to lead Bible studies to reach out to their houses

Prayer Requests and Praises:

-Praise God that Urbana 09 went very well and many young people will consider their role in world
missions as a result. -Please pray for them to be attentive to God’s will for their lives.
-Please be praying for the students and staff attending Greek Conference
-Please pray for Cari. She is still having some foot pain from the plantar fasciitis she developed in
December. She’s been able to go back to work full-time, but is very worn out and sore by the end of the
day. Treatment is helping some, but it seems like it will be a long road still for her.
-As always, support raising is important to allow me to continue serving at InterVarsity. Please pray for
boldness for me and also for God’s continued provision in our lives.

Thank you for your friendship and partnership in this mission! -Mike
