How To Fight Fair:

Do I serve this nation or Gods Kingdom?


1... Today the Lord would not allow me to preach what is expected on Memorial Day. (Today we
honor all those who have given their lives for our country).
2... Today my message is not about America, it is about the Kingdom of God. In this message
today we will find out where we stand with Jesus are George Washington.
3... As a Shepherd, my job is to tend to the sheep, I shepherd those who are in active duty, I
shepherd those who are veterans, In shepherding I know that Memorial Day is a big part of the
veterans life. So today I have chosen to minister to both groups.
4... Memorial Day is a special time to recognize, honor, and thank all of those who have served
our country and given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
5... It is an honor to stand before you on this special day and offer these words honoring our veterans who
are with us, and those fallen heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

6... "Memorial Day" wasn't commonly used until World War 11. Federal law recognized the
holiday as "Memorial Day" in 1967.
Fight Between Two Wolves:
1... An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. A fight is going on inside me, he said
to the boy.
It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil he is anger, envy, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. He continued, The
other is good he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy,
generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you and inside every
other person, too.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, Which wolf will
win?
The old Cherokee simply replied, The one you feed.
2... Which wolf are you feeding? The evil wolf, are the good wolf? (If you take a dirty glass of
water and start pouring in clean water, eventually the dirty water will disappear).
Are you taking in more clean water than dirty? Which wolf are you feeding?
3... (Romans 12:21) says, Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
4... If you feed the evil wolf it will destroy you, if you feed the good wolf it will open the door to
the supernatural. (As a member of the FWC it will always be expected of you to feed the good
wolf, to keep pouring in clean water until all the dirty water is gone).
How to fight fair:
Illus... I asked my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?'
It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation.
'Somewhere I haven't been in a long time.' she said.
So I suggested, 'How about the kitchen?'
And that's when the fight started.... (Some people just know how to start fights and they are pros
at not fighting fair).

1... (I have found that many people who don't fight fair are reader in homes where they did not
fight fair. Sometimes YOU have to be the one that breaks the curse). The devil has lied to many
by convincing them that it's just their personality, but let me tell you the truth, it is a curse that
has been handed down from generation to generation and it will continue until someone rises up
and breaks the chains.
2... If you are a drama queen, you will pass the curse to your children who will raise more drama
queens. When you come into my home you will find that it is peaceful, we don't allow drama. 3...
We taught our children to get over it.
4... (Exodus 34:7) tells us that the iniquity of the fathers will be upon the children, and upon the
children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation." (What does this mean, it means
the curse will be there until somebody deals with the sin, until somebody quits feeding the bad
wolf).
Judgmental People:
1... Judgmental people never fight fair. Condemning others is not fighting fair. Having a
unforgiving spirit is not fighting fair. (Those who judge, condemn, and don't forgive are feeding
the evil wolf, they are pouring dirty water into clean water).
Luke 6:37
37 "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive,
and you will be forgiven.

2... Stop criticizing others, or it will come back to you. If you forgive others, you will be forgiven. (We
are never fighting fair when we are criticizing others, we are never fighting fair when we are not
forgiving others).
3... In (Lk 6:38) we find a scripture that many only use one way, the money I give, but the truth is, this
Biblical law also works the other way. (When you don't fight fair, it is measured back to you).
Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over
will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

4... (James 4:2-30) says, Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye
fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss,
that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (Could it be that we are in need and don't have what we
need because we don't fight fair, we are feeding the evil wolf).
5... Paul told us in (1 Cor.16:14) to "Do everything with love". (If you are feeding the wrong
wolf, you want do everything in love.
You Have A Choice:
(When you have a conflict, you have a choice:) How you choose determines the wolf you feed.

1... (Romans 12:17) says, Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in
the sight of all. (Are you giving thought to do what is honorable in sight of all?). You Have a
Choice.
2... (Matthew 18:15) says, If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between
you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. (You Have A Choice).
3... Resolve the conflict or dissolve the relationship. (Which one will you do, resolve the conflict or
dissolve the relationship).
4... I have found that many people want to pick a fight, but they don't want to fight fair. (Here while back
I raised my voice to Rhonda, and she said you are just like your daddy. What did my dad have to do with
her being wrong?)

5... 'Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and the other is usually the
husband.' (And all the men says, Amen).
