RFP

Background
o Melonspace has 2 clients that are currently in the health education sector who have
engaged Melonspace to deliver an eLearning solution to enable
them to place and sell interactive online training courses
o Our clients currently conduct student training face to face
o They currently use Moodle for student CRM and assigning and attaching courses
which are manually marked by lectures offline.
o Melonspace is seeking appropriate development partners/vendors who has
experience in the education eLearning sector that would partner and deliver a
SCORM eLearning solution that integrates with Moodle to our clients.
o Seeking Partner / Vendor with ability to also create SCORM compliant courses
o Moving forward, Melonspace would like to sell the platform as a subscriber model to
other education bodies. Eg: Solution platform or cloud subscription model solution.

o WYSWYG editor to add multimedia elements including text video,
graphics, audio and animation
o Add hotspots, popups, hyperlinks, quizzes, remediation or timeline
feature
o Preview in html 5 or flash
o Assessment & survey editor
o Ability to convert from PowerPoint and word
o Ability to create webpages
o Package and publish to LMS without copying or worrying about
underlying files and media assets

o Student self guided course

o Progress based courses such as when the learners are required
to visit a all pages
o Performance based where learners are required to pass the test /

o Ability to control navigation by defining rules in the visual
sequencing rule editor. Allow learners to navigate freely in course
or force them to go in a sequence
o Ability to remediate the learner back to any of the learning
modules inserted in course if they fail in the post test of the course
o Provide learners status bar completion status
o Track students progress within the eLearning course
o Ability to set a expiry date automatically of course

4. What experience do you have with Moodle?
5. Are you able to provide us a demo of LMS system that you
have built in particular eLearning SCORM platform
6. Do you have SCORM content services that can build
eLearning courses
7. What is you recommendation with SCORM authoring tools
8. If you were selected as preferred part how long would it take
for you to design, build and implement the solution.
9. If you have a platform are we able to customize and re-skin
10. IP ownership ?
11. Will you be able to produce a detailed proposal with solution
and cost for our client
12. Melonspace will require onsite local presence Eg: BA and
technical lead from your company for the initial discovery
phase of the project. Is this possible.
13. Please provide a very high level proposal.
14. Do you have skilled Moodle and eLearning SCORM team?
