WIPEX®-coupling
for Wirsbo-PEX® pipes
The reliable
hot and cold water
pipe coupling
The WIPEX-coupling is specifically designed
for connecting cross linked polyethylene pipes,
produced by Wirsbo, for hot and cold water in
domestic and district heating installations. The
coupling is available for pipe dimensions 25-110
mm, in two series marked PN 6 and PN 10.

The WIPEX-coupling is designed to give an excellent

tight grip. The gripping strength is higher than the ten-
sile strength of the pipe, and the sealing performance is
unaffected by temperature fluctuations.

WIPEX-couplings are robust and simple in design, can

be fitted very easily and quickly even in difficult locations
and confined spaces. The ring spanners used when fit-
ting the coupling are very small and convenient to use
in relation to the size of the coupling.

The WIPEX-coupling is patented, tested according to

DVGW (Germany), NKB (Sweden), CSTB (France),
KIWA (Holland) and approved.

The WIPEX-couplings and fittings are made of dezinci-

fication resistant brass or gun metal.

O-rings are used to seal between the couplings and pipe

fittings.

The WIPEX-fittingsystem allows for an extremely wide

range of connection combinations.

The WIPEX-coupling is a very safe coupling that is easy

to install. All tools needed are two fixed keys plus a pair
of pliers.

The various materials used in the couplings and pipe

fittings have been specially selected and tested to ensure
high mechanical strength and good resistance against
corrosion.

Function of the coupling

Easy to assemble
A wide range of pipe fittings and o-rings
are available for the WIPEX-couplings,
as shown in this brochure. O-rings are
used for sealing all joints in the WIPEX-
