Achievment

our previous achievement

2013 has become a great year for Division of IE Fair.

516 teams of high school students competed in a
national event called Industrial Engineering Games
8th Edition (IE Games). Three super inspirational
technopreneurs also became the speakers for IE
Talkshow, sharing their experiences of ups and
downs in surviving their business. Industrial Music
and Charity (IE MAC ) closed these series of events
by presenting an ecccentric indie-music
performance, Endah n Rhesa. As the result of
good preparation, hard work, and not leaving
behing the high service level, three major events
of IE Fair were able to be accomplished.

Indonesia is one of the countries included in the
top five most populous. There is great potential behind
it all, every year tens of Tibu undergraduate science
was born with a different individual. With the power of
human resources and abundant natural resources in
Indonesia, 20 years later this country can be
influential countries in the world economy moving.
and to achieve this there needs to be a change
movement.
When a scholar born, is necessary not only to
advance the nation's science, but also the soul of
the competition over the competitors. through IE
FAIR 2014, the spirit of competition was grown on
young generation and also given briefing on the
state of the science of human resources currently
experienced by the parties.
In running this activity as a movement for
change, not only can be done by one agency, but
it takes cooperation between agencies, a
university as an executor who has the same
thoughts on this nation to jointly carry out these
ideas for change better nation.

In line with the development
of the country, the competition
among scholars today is so tight,
so that students are not only
encouraged to study hard in order
to increase the ability of hard skills,
but also hone their soft skills. With
these objectives, we need a
container that can simultaneously
sharpen both.
Our student of Industrial
Engineering Students (HMTI) will
carry out a series of events under
the name Industrial Engineering
Fair (IE FAIR 2014) in FebruaryMarch 2014 in the city of
Surabaya. IE FAIR is a set of
event that supported by Sepuluh
Nopember Institute of
Technology. For IE FAIR 2014,
there is Industrial Games (IE Games 9th Edition) and
Industrial Challenge (Inchall).
Given all the positive benefits to be gained
through IE FAIR 2014 on behalf of the Department of
Industrial Engineering ITS, I humbly offer companies
an opportunity to contribute to this event. It is hoped
that this opportunity would be a good form of future
cooperation.

IE Games 9th Edition
is a combination of math,
science and business
competition for high school
students that is packed in
form of fun games. The
competition is held to
introduce the fields of
study of Industrial
Engineering to high school
students. The selection will be held online and offline in several
regions in Indonesia. Top 30 teams will be invited to the
campus building of Industrial Engineering Department, ITS
Surabaya, to join the semifinal. Each team will be
accompanied and guided by a liaison officer during the
semifinal stage in Surabaya. The semifinalists will have a
company visit to one of manufacturing industries company in
East Java to ease their understanding of Industrial
Engineering scopes by directly observing the whole process
of manufacturing. The first winner of three students will get a
golden ticket to enter Industrial Engineering Department ITS
Surabaya.

March 2014

Industrial Challange
2014 or Inchall 2014 is
the competition of the industrial engineering application
between all the collegian students from all over Indonesia. It
was held by Industrial Engineering department of ITS for
every two years and this year will held as the 8th
competition.
The competition will started from online quiz that worked by
all the participants that were registered before. Next, the 15
teams who get the highest score from all over Indonesia will
joined the Final Stages in ITS Surabaya. The Final Stages will
included of Bidding Stage, Gala Dinner, UKM Visits, and the
presentation of the report from each teams.
The competition will attracting the Industrial Engineering
students from all over Indonesia to join and compete with
others to apply their Industrial Engineering majors.
