Music is not effective in addressing social and political issues. This is because messages conveyed through music
are likely to go unnoticed by many listeners, politicians can decrease the chances the messages will be properly
understood, and musicians trying to take an active part in addressing issues may implement faulty solutions for a
problem and they can disrupt the political system through their attempts to be an activist.
